George Parros Picks Up First Goal, Fight of the Season

George Parros was all over the scoresheet yesterday in the Panthers 4-3 win over the Sabres.

Early in the second period Parros took on monstrous heavyweight John Scott. Scott locked out Parros when he could, but the two still exchanged some carefully timed punches before Scott lost his balance, ending the fight.

Shortly after the fighting major penalty expired Parros took a drop pass from Stephen Weiss and put it past Ryan Miller. Parros finished the day a +2.

Parros spoke about his day with the Sun-Sentinel, saying he'll leave calling any winner of the fight up to us:
