None of what was published in that book is in any rule book anywhere, hence the rules are still unwritten, even though they're discussed in the book.

I think that makes sense, maybe?

doesn't that then make them "the written rules"?

i'm so confused...

Ordered the book

and can't wait to get it. Shipping takes a couple of weeks through Amazon but I am sure it will be well worth it. Great Interview.

Just because the book is about a subject we enjoy doesn't mean it was a good book. The author didn't demonstrate any special talents. He ran through some old interviews and added very little insight beyond what we already know.

The best part of the book was the end. Perhaps Neil Sheehy should author a book about it.

There was some kind of a reference to the Maloney/Glennie incident.Believe it was stated to have been a stick-swinging infraction.

If I remember right, the controversy was about Maloney bouncing Glennies head off the ice while he had him down, not sticking him.

I found what I've read so far of interest and to be a welcome addition to my library. It has some flaws, like the one I've stated, but still fun to read.

Thanks.
