Bigjack do you remember Erik The red and his bone? He used to keep it next to the turnbuckle. One of my dads friends actually ran up to the ring and grabbed it and ran out of the arena with it. He still has it to this day. One of the funniest things I ever saw was Erik running after him.

Well I guess I can hope for him to impale himself on that 2X4 jumping from the top rope. Age and health don't seem to mean anything, not according to the link Yidd provided at least.

I can't beleive he's still performing, how old is he anyway?

Great story BL but no I don't, sorry. I remember wasn't it those moondogs spot and rex or some bullsh*t who chewed on bones and acted like a dog!
I haven't watched wrestling since probably 1985 or so when the Hulk was getting big and they had Pipers pit and all the bullsh*t started coming in. Once in a while I'd catch Rick Flair doing his whew whew and my brother in law met him in a bar in North Carolina and said he was cool going whew to the bar but in the last 20 years I haven't watched much wrestling and liked the old no frills and simple script days of Bruno, Backlund, and Superstar Billy Graham!

Just wondering, has anyone taken Superstar Billy Graham? With his roids abuse and multiple surgeries on his hips and whatnot, he may not be the healthiest guy around!

I think the first 2 were King and Rex. I think Spot was their little brother after a while.

Since my 1st pick-Scott Hall and 2nd pick-Jake the Snake are gone I'll pick TONY ATLAS! I saw a feature on TV with him about 2 years ago talking about how his drugging and drinking lead him to a life on the streets sleeping on park benches! What a waste, he was one of my favorites! Now he runs some crap league trying to find places to go and letting people beat the holy hell out him for a few $, after the "match" was over the lady (it was a mixed tag team) had a broken hand and Tony face was so lumped up it was horrifying!

Between boozing, beatings like this and the affects of prolonged steriod abuse he has to be my pick, sadly!

I read on this post Lex Luger is in jail, can anyone tell me why?, was it associated from Miss Elizabeth?

Wow never knew that about Atlas. He and Ron Simmons had some builds the ex Florida State football player who went into wrestling. Regarding Lugar, I think it is about her death!

I was amazed to find out a few weeks ago that he wrestled with a prosthetic leg. That's even better than the drummer from Def Leppard.

I don't think that's true. I remember watching him fight and I'm pretty sure he had both legs.

Story goes that Kerry von Erich's prosthetic use was revealed in a match with Jerry Lawler in 1988. It was in Las Vegas for the AWA, and story has it that Lawler went to yank von Erich by the boot and the limb came off. I believe the boot was used from the knee down, as Kerry had his ankle pretty much crushed in that motorcycle wreck in 1986. He was out about 16 months. Probably training with the boot.
