I was very surprised by this. Media made him look like a class act at the Olympics. I wonder what his motive was. The inmates will have a whale of a time teasing/bullying blade runner about his disability. I wonder if he be in general population.

Maybe "teasing" is a weak word. You see gangs abusing inmates who are different color, ethnicity, gay and so on. Having no legs will make him an easy target for ungodly behavior. (better description? )

This story is bizarre. And a real shame given the parties involved. He really was inspirational last summer. His run is something I'll always remember. As for his girlfriend, she was a model and a real stunner by the look of it.

Yeah, I think the same.
It seems their neighbours called the police two hours before the shooting because they heard them fight. Not only that, she was shot in the bathroom, I can't really see a thief going in there.

Shame, he was an inspiration for so many people, me included. He looked like a great guy, instead he's a piece of crap. Well, another one bites the dust...

Believe it or not, atleast here in America, inmates usually don't include disabilities to the list of ridicule. You'll actually see them help out if need be, even if the guy isn't a prison friend/gang member. Even among the biggest POS's in the world, there is a 'code' so to say. Families and children are also included in that. As for him being in general population, if it were in America (obviously it is not, but I don't know how their prison's operate) it would depend on his ability to cope with his disability in general population. There are plenty of people locked-up missing limbs and what not in general population. The bigger factor is his celebrity status in that country. Example given is Plaxico Burress and Lil' Wayne in this country, they were placed in Admin PC because the faculty thought they'd be a target.

Just to add, even the gay thing is being let off on a bit. I'll tell you what though, a gay dude who can scrap will certainly be left alone that is for sure.
