That is shocking history, Sukoshi. I think this is a feat accomplished the embarrassing way.

Great effort from City today, title may be over but anytime u can walk into the Swamp and take 3 points from Baconface is always enjoyable.

City controlled the midfield, Milner played well pushing up alot. Giggs had 5 fouls in the first half alone and still never saw yellow, weird.

Ferguson rumored to be retiring?? very nice im sick of seeing that old prick whine when his team is losing and the 4th official doesn't put up an amount of minutes on the board for manchester united to come back and draw/win the match along with crying while his team is ahead and giving the opponent the same opportunity.

Rumour confirmed this morning

Love him or hate him, youve got to have respect for what he has acheived over the years there, and simply the length of his tenure at the very top. Not many managers in pro sports can claim 27 years at one team, with well over 20 of them sitting at the top of the profession.

I for one thought he would never leave, that he would be carried away from the job in a box.

Whoever takes the job has some big shoes to fill, and Man United must choose carefully. Mourinho is the obvious choice, but will he do a disappearing act after a couple of seasons as he has done at every other club? Not necessarily in the best interests of the club so I wouldn't be surprised if they chose another candidate.

Why so bitter? Seriosuly is that the only emotion you can manage?

I'll second that I thought he'd only retire when he couldn't carry on because of his health.

Long term I wanna see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer managing. Good guy with history in the team and is doing a great job currently. Short term Mourinho is the only manager I want there. He's the best in the buisness and sucess follows him. More importantly if he comes to United he's not going to Chelsea and there's a chance Ronaldo will follow him over.

mourinho isn't the obvious choice...he's going back to chelsea most likely. david moyes will be the new manager.

i think he can do good, but he has no experience in european games and all that stuff.

Good riddance to the old pisscan. His arrogance and age sure showed this year with all his antics, most notably his calling of Pardew and Newcastle a 'wee club in the northeast`. Baconface can get stuffed for all most people think.
