Although, in more important news ( ), Sheffield Wednesday got into the second automatic promotion place in League One yesterday after our city rivals Sheffield United only managed a draw at home.. with one game to go, it's in our hands for the first time in a long time! Boy are they missing Ched 'Rapist' Evans..

Are you retarded, because you clearly can't read nor comprehend!

I stated Chelsea made it count and Barca have no one to blame but themselves. The refs didn't give anyone the game, yeah that was a handball by that led to the Torres goal..... but Barca wasn't going to score in the last 2 minutes, So Chelsea still would have won.

So don't put words in my mouth or better yet my post when they aren't true, you delusional cunt.

That seems to be the word. I thought for sure Harry would get the job. Still a good hire I feel.

I'm not too sure if it's Redknapp 'getting' the job that's in question, it's whether Redknapp 'wanted' it. He's not in the greatest of health, and feels he is on the verge of acheiving something big with Tottenham - that he would be leaving an unfinished job.

Hodgson is the only other credible candidate, since the FA went and dug themselves into a hole by saying the next manager *had* to be English. He struggled at Liverpool, but saying that his successor hasn't exactly shone either, which suggests that may not all have been Roy's fault. Vastly experienced, with management experience in many footballing environments across Europe, he's as good a horse to back as any.

Names like Brendan Rogers and Ian Holloway have been mentioned after success over the past couple of seasons, but have yet to prove anything over a sustained period of time, which is where the FA went wrong in hiring Steve McLaren after Middlesbrough had their run in the Europa League (and were promptly blown out of the water in the final by Sevilla, the first strong team they faced). It seems they have learnt from that anyway..

Everyone one of your post is moaning about refs and why mention the handball if not blaming the refs? Also yor first post on it was about how lucky Chelsea were it was nothing to do with luck they wanted it more and played better love with it and jump over to one of the other teams you support I'm sure they wont mind another band wagon fan

So one might say Barca hitting the post 4 times is unlucky, which many did... therefore the polar opposite would be Chelsea got lucky regarding those posts being hit versus the goal.... a simple concept you are strangely unable to grasp., maybe that's because it's logical.

Band wagon fan, now that's funny!!

Bayern & Barca till I die, BITCH!!

That seems to explain a lot. I really do like that hire though and I hope he does well.

I always find it difficult for a country to find their next manager from within the country. We were lucky in the US with Bradley and Arena, but as we were looking for the next manager it became apparent there really isnt a good fit other than Klinsmann. I think the same kind of goes with Ireland and Giovanni. As time goes on I think countries should look for the right manager not just one that comes from your country and if you get both then that's just getting your cake and eating it too.

Let see, I lived in Barcelona for a total of 18 months in my life, and own a house in München where I spend about half my time every year... Not to mention the 3 years I lived there as a child. Went to both Bayern and Barça game before I could walk, I'd say I've earned the right to support my teams.

Ironically you called me a bandwagon fan, when I've got more roots with my actual teams than 80% of so called fans.

Who cares if it was a handball? Chelsea still won without the Torres goal. And it's about time the refs gave some advantage to the Blues after the '09 series where UEFA-LONA handed the match to Barca. The fix was obviously on that day. It was a sad day in football.

Chelsea beat what's being called the best football club ever assembled a man down in their own building. That's unheard of. Beating Bayern won't be half the challenge.

Heck, Bayern lost to Borussia M'Gladbach at home this year...
