Terrence Gene Bollea (Hulk Hogan) born August 11 1953 , 57 years old .
Give me a break here guys , this TNA is nothing more then a place for old age wrestlers that have egos so large they just can't let go !!!!

Thats the way wrestling has always been and always will be. TNA is smart to use hogan and his name to get people to watch and using other old wrestlers bring in ratings. Besides Hogan and Flair tna is packed with young up an coming wrestlers and the guys being pushed the most are young wrestlers i have no problem with TNA is doing its smart and i have been entertained so far.

Living Dangerously from 2000. One of my favourite wrestlers of all time Mike Awesome takes on Kid Kash in an impromptu match. Amazing how a 5 minute match can have more excitement than most 25+ minute WWE main event matches from Raw, Smackdown, and their PPV's.

"You can either get of this ring and live. Or you can stay in it, and DDDDDDIIIIIIIIEEEEEEE." RIP Mike.

MIKE AWESOME vs KID KASH

They have the most old men in the business today !!

Steve Borden (STING) Born March 20 1959 51 years old !!

Scott Hall born October October 20 1958 52 years old !!

Kevan Nash July 9 1959 51 years old !!

Even Jeff Jarrett is 44 years old , Kurt Angle is 43 , and Angle has said he would never wrestle past the age of forty because they go down hill real fast form that age on but here he is still doing what he himself said he would never do ..

It's the "MONEY" they can make that keeps them in the business so long and the fact that it is so choreographed that they almost never get injured anymore , your are more liable to get injured riding your bike in traffic then in a pro wrestling match ..

Kurt Angle is the best wrestler in the world hands down. And 43 is not old as far as wrestling goes. This is nothing new WWE has much more older talent you named 7 guys of a 60 + man roster for TNA when WWE is packed with them. HHH,Big Show,HBK,Chavo,Mark Henry,Kozlov,Regal,Batista,Jericho,Finaly,Goldust, Kane,Undertaker to name a few. They never get hurt? What have you ever been in a ring, these guys are all pain pill addicts for a reason just becuase its staged doesnt mean you cant get hurt. These guys work 345 days a week banging their bodies around. Its not the money as much as you think either.

After confirming negotiations with the World Wrestling Entertainment, Bill Goldberg has given us more insight as to what his internal goals are. "Is it out of the question for me to have one more match?" Goldberg wrote. "Answer is no...my son has never seen me wrestle and I'd love to see his reaction."

Goldberg originally made it known that he had been in negotiations with WWE Wednesday via his Twitter page. Goldberg commented on negotiations, and TNA’s lack of interest in bringing him in. Wednesday, Goldberg also mentioned his son as being the main reason he is open to a contract with the WWE.

JR also commented on the negotiations giving a little more detail as to what the negotiations could possibly mean. JR, who at one point, handled Talent Relations, new contracts, extending contracts, ect has a great deal of knowledge of what options Goldberg has in terms of a contract. If a deal is reached, the deal could possibly be for gaming rights, merchandise and possibly an in-ring return.

As of press time, no deal has been made but Goldberg has made it very clear he is very interested in a deal, but what that deal brings, remains to be seen.
Man did I ever f*cking hate Goldberg and the way he was pushed in WCW. He'd be 33 - 0 after a win against Lodi on Moday Nitro, and then be 49 - 0 when he wrestles Van Hammer 3 days later on Thunder.

I absolutely F*CKING HATE what Vince McMahon has become.

Quote:
Speaking to Acorn Online, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon rips TNA for its struggle to make any sort of impact in the ongoing "Monday Night War" with his company's RAW telecast.

Notably, McMahon explains that TNA offers a dated product--"pro wrasslin'"--that is not compatible with the expectations of the modern WWE fan.

"We’re in different businesses," says McMahon. "We’re in the entertainment business and they’re in the ‘pro wrasslin’ business. It’s different markets. When they moved to Monday nights they threw the kitchen sink at us and only did a fraction of our audience. It doesn’t speak well for the type of product they’re trying to present with the tawdry, blood-soaked action. I don’t think that’s what the culture wants these days.”

McMahon adds that his company, which is "woven into the fabric of America," represents a true family affair.

Says McMahon, "If you look at the audience for our live events you will see fathers and sons and mothers and sons and brothers and sisters. This is something an entire family can go out and enjoy together. It’s a lot like baseball in that respect."
Nice how Vinny ignores how his company was drawing TWICE THE RATINGS and making an ass load more money when they were doing that "pro wrasslin" stuff, instead of this early 90's Doink The Clown sh1t. "Modern WWE fan?" A modern WWE fan is 8 years old.

EDIT:

Quote:
–Dixie Carter twittered regarding Vince McMahon’s comments that TNA was a tawdry product, saying to be called tawdry by the king of tawdry is quite a compliment.

Ha, this is a delayed reaction but i am just coming across this thread now.

I love the dudley boys (excuse me i mean team 3D) reaction to the nasty boys...it was as if they were in shock when they found it was the nasty boys, not because they couldnt believe the nasty boys would do such a thing...but because they didnt even know they were still alive "The Nasty boys? THE NASTY BOYS? WHERE HAVE THE NASTY BOYS BEEN FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS?!"

Although I will admit, this was one of my favourite moments from WCW in those days.

Saw this ECW video on youtube. Has some WWE intro sh1t before so it's got to be Vince made. WWE always made FANTASTIC video packages, and this one about ECW is one of the best I have ever seen.
