Best metal song ever?

Even if it's not your favourite genre, which is probably most people, even on this site.

Iron Maiden - Hallowed Be Thy Name

This one usually gets brought up first and I think it's way up there, but I need to go with another Iron Maiden song.

Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark

Just about anything on Peace Sells...or Rust in Peace by Megadeth. 2 of my favorites from Peace sells.
Megadeth - Wake Up Dead - YouTube

Same with Metallica Kill em All and Master of Puppets. Great stuff. oh and ...And Justice for All. Thats some heavy, heavy ****. So many it's hard to pick just one but the one song that got me really loving this stuff is when I first heard this when the album came out.
Metallica - Battery (HD) - YouTube

Saw Mayhem fest friday in Mansfield MA. and there were a couple of bands playing some of my all time favorite metal songs;Slayer with "Angel of Death" and Motorhead with "Ace of Spades"! Classics! As far as Maiden,my choice would be "Revalations",and Megadeth would be "My Last Words" off Peace Sells.

Throwing it in there

Judas Priest - Painkiller
Killer guitar intro, and the audio developers of DOOM clearly listened to this song and album when they made that game.

Judas Priest - The Sentinel
This song is so underrated for no reason at all.

Pretty cool you like all this old school metal at a young age,SLindros. Awesome! I saw Priest 3 times in highschool, twice on the "Defenders" tour, and as a senior for the "Turbo" tour. Saw Maidens " Powerslave" and "Somewhere in Time" tour also. Watch "heavy metal parking lot",you might see me in it,tailgating with my '69 SS Camaro. Seriously.

I mostly listen to classical music as some people on this site already know, but I've been slowly adding more rock music to my iPod. "Thunderstruck" by ACDC is one of my favorites, along with "Rock you like a Hurricane" by the scorpions. I basically learn about new metal songs (new to me, I should say) from playing NHL games on my Ps3, haha.

Not sure if anyone would consider this metal........but Soundgarden's "Gun" , "Slaves and Bulldozers", and "Toy Box" is as heavy as anything out there. You can throw in many more of theirs but these are just to name a few. Hard to pick just one.

Hard to pick one, but there are a few that got me into "metal" at a young age:

Metallica - For Whom the Bell Tolls

Metallica -One

It's way too difficult to just choose one. But here are some of my favorites. The other one I would have mentioned was already listed by someone else. "One" by Metallica.

Metallica - Master of Puppets - YouTube

Metallica - Blackened - YouTube

Megadeth- Peace Sells - YouTube

Megadeth - Hangar 18 - YouTube

Megadeth - Return to Hangar - YouTube
