left my IT account manager job after 6 years a while ago
started my own business, I run two different companies

In the 1st case I wanted to pound only on customers and coworkers
Here´s the list of people who deserve a good beating from me right now:

1) customers (good half of them)
2) employees (everyone is just asking for more money and when you hear it often from numerous sides you wanna drop ´em)
3) clerks at majority of the bureaus
4) special group is customers who have average money and act like they are rich
5) companies who call me trying to sell me something over phone when I dont have a second to talk to anyone

Good thing is that if you have own company you can change everything you want to. . Bad thing is that it takes much more responsibility than being an employee. Its two different Worlds but I think I decided for the right World

I just need a couple of years to make my companies even more stabilizated on the market and more money productive

i really dont want to do what i do anymore. i'd love to be able to pay someone to do my route for me on a permanent basis. on the other hand, id love to sell it and do something useful with my life.

i think im having a midlife crisis at 28 (which doesnt make my lifespan look too great)... but, i feel i could be doing a lot more with myself.

I feel like that a lot lately. I want to be a part of something and actually doing something meaningful and makes a difference. This sounds corny but I'd like to do something that feels like a team like atmosphere where everyone is striving for the same goal, not just to make money and show up for a paycheck. Or at least something where at the end of the day I can go home and feel like I actually accomplished something instead of going home and feeling just blah because I know have to go through the same thing, same problems and the same crap the next day, it just never ends and it is mentally draining.

i hear you. i feel like a dick at times, but i look at most of the people who do my job, and others within my company and it makes me feel like an idiot. i'm educated with degrees, currently going for another one and feel like im wasting my life. i make good money, but thats not enough (extremely cold thing to say considering the state of employment in this country, but lucky for me i dont really care about others). i feel like i need something in my life just like what you mentioned. i want to be a part of something bigger, something im proud of. it sounds very corny, but thats how i feel.

Mainly this one idiot I work with who's drunk or hangover half the time. I also hate that I'm still a temp after working here for this long. Love the overtime though; up to 15 hours, but.I usually only do 10
