Yeah, we are pretty close. I'm pizzed though, I want a big storm. A heavy storm will keep all the students holed up on campus. They have no clue how to drive in adverse conditions.

Ithaca is out of the lake effect belt. Snow from Erie does not come this far east, and snow from Ontario doesn't come this far south. Occasionally we get some really localized lake effect off of Cayuga Lake, but it is just not big enough to create anything substantial. Lake effect is the only thing I miss about living in Rochester.

They are calling for 30-40 cm's of snow for Halifax Friday night into Sunday. As nor'easter is coming.

Last 3 weeks have been from 5-25f highs and roughly 5 or 6 inches of snow a week. And it all sticks. Plus what was already there. Very slyly piling up! Went snowshoeing today for the first time ever and did it on 70yo shoes. Fun times and a good workout (was blazing a trail).

Came home from the hockey game last night with clear weather and good roads , went to bed at around 12:45 am , it was still clear , got up this morning to 8 inches of blowing snow on top of freezing rain that fell before it turned to snow , with the wind out of the north at 30-40 miles per hour I cant see the house across the street , total whiteout right now , all schools in this area are closed , all flights have been canceled .
They said it is supposed to clear by this afternoon but the blowing snow will still be in the area , hope the wind drops off by 6pm as I am going to another game tonight , just have to wait and see , the Owen Sound Attack just may not make it to London it is that bad up that way , they said to listen to the radio for a cancelation if the weather dosent clear by this afternoon ....

Already snowing here in NH. By tomorrow morning we are supposed to get about 2 feet. And throw a case or two in the snow, just incase the power goes out.

No better way to enjoy the snow than breakin' trail with a pair of beaver tails strapped to your feet. Hopefully this storm drops quite a bit of snoe, so I can bust mine out for the first time in two years.

Took my literally 15 mins to get out of my apt complex. Snow is really wet and heavy, mixed with tons of deer crossing the road. Done driving for the day

Weather changed greatly over several hours. When I went to school it was nice and clear. Driving home there was snow flurries, nothing crazy yet, only supposed to get about an inch today. 32 degrees out right now.
