We ended up with at least a foot of snow. Then the drifts were all the way up to my knees.

Trudged through the woods a bit to test out my boots for real. Then did some shoveling and icicle breaking when I got back. Just getting started on my first real winter and I like it!

Yes I live in Western New York (best part of the state ) but I still worry about 3-5 inches of snow. I was driving home last night and it was brutal. This is my first winter driving so that's probably why I don't want snow. Only getting about an inch today, however, winds could get up to 30mph, looks like I'm staying inside next to the fire place.

Poor ending to Xmas day around here. Mobile AL (about 45 miles west of us) is reporting a tornado on the ground in the downtown area. Power outages and an actual debres ball being reported by people on the ground.

edit: they just showed video from a camera mounted on a building of the tornado going thru the downtown area, pretty big twister.

We're under a tornado watch until 6 AM but there's two strong lines of storms moving through later this evening into the overnight hrs. Heavy thunderstorms headed our way starting about 8 PM. Gonna be a long night.

It's high 20's and windy. Supposed to have a big storm front coming which is said to bring 11 inches of snow here (doubt it), and tornado warnings, flooding, and all that good **** all up the east coast.

I got sick as soon as the weather changed the other day

Major snow in Indiana and Michigan today. Probably between 6-12 inches. Really glad that I don't have to drive through this today while going south

Yeah, this storm could be bad. Snow starting to pick up here, I see heavy-duty shoveling coming.

How is it. Judging from some facebook posts it seems like a good amount of snow

A northeaster is moving into Atlantic Canada today. I expect some snow, ice pellets, then changing to rain along the coast.

Nightly lows of -30 something Celcius for the past week. Highs of -20 or so. I can deal fairly well with the cold, but my truck tells me otherwise.
