There is another storm crossing into Alabama now that's got a tornado warning on it, and it looks like it is taking dead aim on Montgomery. Stay safe, PilotsFan.
Unreal video dude. Got other pictures from the University of Alabama where it pretty much skirted them, compared to what happened to everyone else.

Hopefully anyone in Montgomery and Atlanta are safe. This is just unreal.

Im about 12 miles north of Montgomery. We've been pretty lucky so far. There's still a lot of sirens and emergency vehicles everywhere so something may have happened from the one a little early that went a few miles north of here.

They're projecting it to pass to the north towards Clanton, so you should be good.

25 deaths across Alabama just reported by WBRC, not including Tuscalossa, where there were 15 deaths.

Yup, we're ok for now. A few storms off to the southwest but they're losing steam quickly so it looks like we're out of the woods for now.

And the devistation north in Tuscaloosa is terrible........really bad.

I think the pictures and videos me and RE posted tell the whole story. Looks like pictures after Hurricane Andrew or Katrina. Not a twister. Hope everyone down there is safe, the death toll is sure to rise though. There was nothing more they could do.

Glad to see you made if PF! Had a few close calls it looks like though...

Yea man thanks, made a lucky decision to make it down to Prattville this evening. I'd actually booked my room in BHam and got there early enough to cancel and go on down to PVille. Whew.......close call.

Feel bad for those folks in Tuscaloosa, they took a hard hit.

Man rough night last night... That crap rolled through the neighborhood last night at about 1:00-1:30 am this morning. Went outside to check the situation out and you could tell that the shyt was about to hit the fan..all you could hear were the emergency weather sirens blarring in the distance and everything else was nice and still and then WHOOSH....it was on us in an instant...but nothing compared to what rolled through Tuscaloosa/B-ham in Bama, and what went through NW Ga, which was the same cell....That one that went through Tuscaloosa/B-ham was unfreakingbelievable...

I think the deathtoll in Bama is 130+ and we had about 15 here in Ga. There was a subdivision in Cartersville Ga that was taken out.

Crazy **** man. Death toll is well over 200 right now, and it will rise. Just surreal.

Computer was down for quite a while this morning ..

The WIND !!! It has uprooted trees , hydro lines down all over the place , limbs all over my lawn and driveway , It hit over 130 kmh in gusts (80mph) in my part of the province !!

But that is nothing compared to what is happening in the south of the USA , thank god I have no family down their right now !!!

same here, tree went down and broke the fence. and then another fence half of it blew down, not to mention my damn boat tipped over. actually had no power from 11-5. but it's nothing compared to the guys down south. hope everyone on here is safe, and their friends/family down there are too.

We think we had it bad with some hydro lines still down , and tipped boats , and some small airplanes flipped , at least we still have the roof over our heads and can find all our family .
They showed one girl on the news searching for her brother , she was climbing over all the rubble of their destroyed home calling his name .
The loss of life is the real sad part of all this , a home can be rebuilt a life can never be replaced ..

Yesterday it was nice and sunny, but today the foul, rainy, weather has returned.
