Right now we are getting our first snow , about an inch has come down as I do this post and it is still falling at a real good rate , could have 3-4 inches by noon , dont think it will stay around for any length of time once the sun comes out later today ..

We are getting light snow this morning , as the temp goes above 0c / 32f it will turn to a mix of wet snow/rain that could make driving a little dicey for the game tonight ..

Some raindrops are finally falling since about 20-30 days. We just passed the driest November ever in history. Pretty crazy, of the 30 days we probably had 28 with sunshine and absolutely no cloud in the sky. On the mountains there is still zero snow. If it doesn't snow a lot soon I'm giving up on the winter already. Sucks if you are waiting for snow to ski powder.

Yeahm it's raining but the temperatures are going up. I heard it will be a pretty warm december, so until January no proper winter; Austria and Germany are in similar situations. You better go to USA or Japan to ski...

It's strange not having snow on the ground at the begining of December. A little sushine, and it's a bearable 40 degrees out.

It's basically snowed everyday the past week, about 15 inches on the ground with another 5-8 inches tonight. I LOVE WINTER!!

I've also already shredded over 280,000 vertical feet this season and that's not including Austria in August-Early October!!

What can I say , it is still raining here , another 25mm (one inch) in the forecast for today , thank you for the warm temps , if it had turned colder we would not have moved for days with the amount of snow that would have been on the ground , this time last year we had that big snow-storm they refer to as "SNOWMEGEDAN" , over 120cm (over 4 feet) of snow came down closing every highway in this part of the country !!!!

Cloudy with rainshowers on the plus side its warm with temps currently 12/53. Well above seasonal for this time of year.

Snow is failing as i do this post , looks like we could get at least 3-5 centimeters (1-2 inches) before it is over , two and a half CM to the inch for the posters that dont know the metric system ..

A very deep low moved across just to the north of Scotland yesterday, which apparently dropped the barometer to 952mb, bringing with it heavy rain/snow, and winds that were recorded at 105mph at low level, gusting up to 165 in the mountains.. widespread damage caused across Scotland, thankfully there was none here, some 300-400 miles south of where it made landfall. Theres another one due to come in on a similar track, with similar characteristics on Monday night/Tuesday morning..

Well we didn't get all that snow they forecast , we only got a dusting , the problem was it melted as soon as it hit the ground , then the temp dropped to -7c/19f after the sun went down , it made some spots real slippery , the parking lot we park in when he go to hockey games on Friday nights was real slippery , but most of the roads were not too bad only had the odd spot we know ices up every year so we know where and when too slow down ..

-6c-21f , wind chill -12-10f , it feels much colder as the wind is at 50km (30 miles per hour) and out of the NW , just another great day in the GREAT GREEN NORTH , just haven't had snow stay on the ground yet around here , so nothing white just yet , and rain in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday ...
