WHAT A DIFFRENCE A DAY MAKES !!!
17c - 62f , now that's more like it , the temp for the next couple days is supposed to be below normal for this time of year , I can handle that after all the hot weather we have had ..

Went in to London yesterday to get my SUV washed , they have one of the best car washes in the province , towel dry every thing inside and out , just got their and this dark cloud was hanging right over the car wash , to opened up and just poured for about 15 minutes , got my SUV washed anyway .By the time I hit the road again the sun had dried the streets up

The temp yesterday started out at 17c-62F , but by 3: pm it had climbed to 30c-86f , with isolated showers all over the place , today is going to be another day with the same temps minus the showers ..

Getting some rain right now , but I think it is going to roll through real fast , just had a thunderstorm that had a bit of hail in it , that could tear the hell out of some of the tobacco crop in the area , dont think it was heavy enough to damage anything else ..

We are being bombarded here with rain in Philly and the surrounding areas. Already the rainiest month on record. Had some nasty thunderstorms move through earlier that flooded the street with a foot of water.

Here lies the problem ahead. Hurricane Irene is looking more and more like it will come up the coast after making landfall between east Florida and the Carolina's. That will be way to much rain for an area that can not handle anymore. If this were to happen the results could be very bad for the area from DC to NYC.

The small town of Goderich was hit by a level 3 tornado yesterday , one person dead .
This town has been called the most picturesque town in Ontario . They cant say that anymore , the down-town looks like a war zone , from the pictures on TV not one building in the town square was spared , some were totally destroyed , it will take days before the highway into town will be open to traffic .
Don't know if my brother lost his boat or not , the marina he keeps it at was directly in the tornado's path ..

Dammit Im ready for winter!! Heat index is already over 100 because of the humidity. It's so humid it's hazy outside. I'm starting to hate it here.

On a brighter note, as if the heat wasnt enough it appeared we were going to be in the path of hurricane Irene. Now it's going up the east coast so it's all good......

Yeah Irene could urn out to be pretty bad. With it staying to the east of Florida it has more time to cook in the Atlantic and tap the warm waters of the gulf stream to strengthen. I can see a hugo/Floyd type outcome. Hugo with landfall location and Floyd with the Flooding rains all the way up here in the mid-atlantioc to the Northeast.

As with any hurricane, you dont wish it on anyone but you're relieved when it goes somwhere else....

76, dry air, sunny, with a light breeze.

Damn near perfect...
