Turkey Day Plans

Bought a 23 Pd turkey, gonna start the drinking tomorrow night into Thursday. Best holiday of them all for sure.

I already made some stuffing yesterday haha, I can't wait!

Just gonna have a small gathering at my grandparents place. Only 6 of us total. But still going all out. My younger brother will be up here Wednesday through Sunday so probably get a few adventures crammed in to the extended weekend with him.

Drinkin and eatin......

I already roasted pumpkins for homemade pie and made the cranberry sauce.

Going to bake pies tomorrow evening, then wake up Thursday and get after it.

A bunch of friends and me are getting together to feast, drink and play music. I love to cook, and plan on being in the kitchen all day!

I'm going to build a time machine and go back and celebrate Canadian thanksgiving. I'm also going to back further in time, have some kids and scar them by being drunk every second day. (after I go forward in time to thanksgiving that is)

Why is someone who isn't sh*tfaced every day boring?

Working a double padding the pension.

Wife's family coming over, so won't miss much. I'll meet the wife and kids later in the day when they bring me dinner.

FBC would probably beat him up.

Anyways, going to the the g-mas house.

Mom's in town this week, so I'm going out to dinner with her and her brother tomorrow night. Not a Thanksgiving dinner, just a restaurant. They'll be doing Thanksgiving with her brother's kids.

I'll be partaking in the usual feast at my dad's house. Gonna stop by my grandmother's house tomorrow afternoon to bring her a pumpkin pie -- her favorite. The least I can do for someone who prefers to spend Thanksgiving alone. She did the holiday hustle and bustle for years, raising six kids. At 81 going on 82, she likes her peace and quiet.

I've also come down with laryngitis this week, just my luck. I still plan on putting back a personal record amount of food on Thursday.

I'll also honor my annual tradition of staying far away from Black Friday shopping crowds. Gotta love the irony of hordes of people stepping on each other to buy sh!t they don't need after a day of being thankful for what they have.

Your house is probably a blast during the holidays actually. Happy Thanksgiving.
