Hahah now now. I had 2 95's back in the day. They were animals with the inline 6 in them. They road like crap, were loud as can be and up here in the NY winters they were like riding in an igloo but I loved it.

My new one when all stock road like a frigging caddy. Now it rides like a tank with all the weight from the bumpers and winch and rear tire carrier and wheels and tires. But its warm in the winter!! Also I can go anywhere and feel safe from criminals because it has full doors and a hardtop haha. Although in the summer I do roll with OR FAB rock crawler doors and the soft top or no top!

I hope so, I was against black rims at first, but Ive grown to like the black and polished look. Im still having a hard time getting a visual of them on my truck.

Cheap though, just over 500 for the set.

Just wanted to see if there were any other jeepers here and what you had. Or even avid off roaders!

I don't know much about jeeps, what kind of engine the jeep got?

Came out with a new motor in 2012. V6 3.6l 285hp 260torque

Old motor was a 3.8 v6 that only put out 202hp.

I have had both motors and honestly dont see much difference. Evern though its 80+ hp in the new motor. Both motora imo in dogs. They need to bring the diesel to the new wranglers here. I believe they are available in Canada.

285 is a decent amount of horsepower, kinda low torque numbers though. They should stuff a diesel or a V8 in that, or at least offer a supercharged or turbo V6.

I wanted to trade my truck in for a 2011 F150 with the 360 horsepower 5.0 engine, but its not in the budget so ive just been doing a few modifications to my current truck.

There's a company that will put a Cummins 4cyl diesel in a Wrangler. You can get close to 30mpg, the best I could get with a 258 was 18 mpg.

That's sweet man, got any pictures of that 04 ford?

I just ordered my headers today which will complete my exhaust system overhaul. Right now the exhaust is completely stock. I came up with my new one and did a ton of research so I hope it performs like I think it will.

Started with OBX SS Longtube Headers, completely deleting the cats which im a little worried about, might be too loud. From the headers im running a stick of summit 3inch stainless pipe, after the pipe will be a round 16 inch Dynomax Ultraflow SS muffler, then from the muffler a 3 inch mandrel bent magnaflow universal tailpipe.

Im gonna call it the Frankenstein exhaust since its consists of OBX, summit, Dynomax, and Magnaflow parts.

Which is why I got rid of mine. Was fun off-road, but completely impractical.

I left mine in the garage for snow and plowing the driveway.
then used it in the summer like a convertible.
They aren't commuter cars but they are practical in other ways plus they're about the last vehicle you can work on yourself.
