I saw pet sematery (that's how the movie is spelled idk why) at a very young age (5) and it horrified me. I was also very scared of the house I was brought up in (believed it was definitely haunted). Doug Houda's teeth also freaked me out too, no joke he was one nasty freaky lookin mf'er

Oh jeeze, so many things, haha.

My biggest fears were the telephone (recurring nightmares where the cord would wrap around my neck, and the "wrong number" lady would yell at me), and robots. In particular, the robots from the ninja turtles: the mousers, as well as MetalHead. That ****er was scarrrry!

I still hate robots.

I've always hated clowns, still to this day. Probably had a lot to do with this fucker:

Also, when I was really young, my grandmother had this doll from her childhood that she still has today. Obviously this doll was pretty weathered and beat up. It was one of those dolls whose eyes would close when you layed it down and the eyes would open when you sat her up. Anyways, I'm pretty sure that bitch winked at me once and it freaked me right out. And it always seemed to move around on it's own. Creepy.

Rosie O'Donnell used to scare the be beejezys out of me when I was a little kid.

As far a movies go, "Session 9" still gives me the creeps just thinking about it. Whenever I see it on Netflix, I cringe. Scariest movie I've ever seen.

The poster that posted about Houda's teeth jogged a memory .

As a kid we had a woman that lived next door to my grandmother (A Mrs.Dawson) that we all thought was a witch , she took pleasure out of scaring the crap out of us kids by removing her false teeth and screwing her face up and doing that screechy laugh , no one ever went across her lawn or raided her garden or apple trees like we did everyone else out of fear she would cast a spell on us ..

Great thread!

The obese neighbor would scare the shi7 outta me as a kid. My mom said that I'd drop everything and bee-line for the front door whenever he'd go for a walk. I think the hanging neck skin really scared me!

Earthquakes! For years I was terrified there would be an eartquake when I was sleeping that would crush me in my sleep. Would have saved years of worrying if I knew the UK didnt really get earth quakes

To this day, I cannot swim in water where I cannot touch or see the bottom. I think Jaws may have had something to do with it.

This show scared the shi7 out of one of my younger brothers when we were kids. I remember an episode where Ciccone saw a picture bleed. That really freaked him out.
