Tattoos

I'm sure some of you guys have tattoos, and I am wondering what you guys have tats of. I have been thinking for over 2 years now of getting and tattoo but yet I still do not have my mind set on what I want. I have the money to get something in the size range I want, as I am willing to spend around $250-$300 on one. The thing is, I can not by any means settle on any idea of what I want. I have considered getting my initals in Kanji letters until I realize that was gay. I've also considered getting a crucifix, until I realized about 9,000 people have them. I've got a close group of about 5 other friends that I have been friends with as long as I can remember, and I considered getting something to symbolize that. However, I just cannot come to an agreement with myself on what I want. I look around on the internet for different ideas, and (I cannot draw) but I try to create the idea I have in my head on paper in hopes that the artist can create a sharper image of what I am thinking. I am not a gangster, I didn't grow up in the hood so I don't have any plans of getting any gangster **** on my. I am looking into a business profession, so I am not considering any Scott Parker Harley-Davidson type tattoos, as I am looking for something on my back or shoulders. I just have no clue how to pinpoint what I want. I am also not going to be one of the queers who goes into the shop and picks a design out of the artists book collection of work he has done. So, for those of you who have tattoos, and actually got something original. How did you narrow down what you wanted? And how long did it take you? At the rate I am going with this decision, I am going to be 65 before I even get a sketch of something.

I have a tattoo of Lamb of God's logo , the one in my avatar, on my right shoulder. I ****in love it! Music is the only thing I'm more passionate about than hockey so I wanted to get something to symbolize that. They are tied with Pantera and Megadeth as my fav band of all time, but I discovered them on my own so they kinda have a special place. My older brother introduced me to Pantera and Megadeth. I'm also gonna get a cool looking cross on my left shoulder becasue I am a Christian and I'm not ashamed to say it. I want to be able to show people that its ok to have tattoos and listen to metal and love Jesus lol. The only thing I can recommend to you when it comes to tattoos is find something that represents what you are passionate about. Be it a design that reminds you of a specific event or a band name or whatever. If it represents something you truly love you'll never regret getting it. Hope my rambling helps a little lol.

None also. A lot of things change as you get older, unless it is something you are really committed to, you may regret it.

I don't have any but a lot of my friends do...this is just a suggestion but why don't you go with something that's more of a design than an actual object/saying...kind of tribal but not like frat-boy-everyone-and-their-mother-has-one tribal. You also have the added bonus of your choice of location...by it being on your back you won't be able to see it so you don't have to worry about getting sick of it. But don't get one until you're really sure about it. If you find a good tattoo artist you can give a general idea of what you want and they may be able to put it down on paper for you.

Tattos arent appealling to me as they once where. No a days Every joker in town has a tatto. From the armbands to the name on the side of the torso to the tramp stamp. If you ask me I wouldnt want one, every body and their mother has one, literally. The whole idea of a tat was to set u aside from the rest of the stiffs in society,But know since everybody has one it's pretty much meaningless,Imo.

The new site emblem with the sticks and the tooth would make a cool tattoo.
