Amazing that this was 11 years ago...never forget.

Went to the Phillies game last night and saw some great tributes. Americans really know how to come together, that's for sure. American flags and flag-related items all over the place. Guy in an American flag body suit, bandannas, Support Our Troops buttons, flags hanging on railings. Papelbon came out to "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" by Toby Keith. It was all very poignant and a great reminder that above all else we are strong believers in our freedom.

Watched the special on how they landed all the planes coming to the US and to know that there were two more hijacked planes or should I say almost hijacked planes thats pretty ****ed up. Just shows how much they hate America and really any Western Society.

I saw a show a few years back where some investigators think there is a possibility of up to 4 more planes that the hijackers may have chickened out and not gone through with it. I’ve looked for more on that theory but I can’t find anything about it.

History had the special yesterday there were two more almost/attempted hijacked planes. One was from Boston but the pilot didn't want to leave because of the attacks and then when they announced their flight would not take off 4 Arab men were seen running off the plane. Security never got to them and when they found their suitcase there was Al-Qaida papers and such in there.

The other one was over Cleveland and apparently these guys tried to storm the cabin like the others had but were put down before they got there. The situation was then handled by Cleveland SWAT. It didn't mention anymore about the others.

I think the reason most of that is kept secret is because it seems like it takes away from the families that did lose folks that day and more so you just can't wrap your mind around that. Think about that 8 hijacked planes? I couldn't imagine what their planes for the other four would even be.

What happened on september 11 was terrible, but what we did (because Canada got involved too) until today is absolute desolation. 8 months after that we should have been out of the middle-east.
