Similar to GODARDs story, a few years back I was dating a girl for 5 or 6 months when one Saturday morning she calls me and tells me she got drunk and hooked up with some random the night before. She went on about how sorry she was and would never do it again and wanted to stay together. I told her I had to think about it and got together with a bunch of friends and got ****tered. Ended up running into this chick that went to school with my "girlfriend" and they both hated each other. So I took her home and after I pulled out and cleaned up, I text my gf and told her what just happened.

She said she wanted nothing to do with me and I said that's fine. Me and the other girl started dating right after and 2 1/2 years later, we're still together.
