Surprised there's not a thread about this. For the first time in over 600 years the Pope has resigned. On the same day Colton Orr scored a goal. Who would've thought? I'm only mentioning this because a Canadian is in the running to be the next pontiff.

Not being Catholic I haven't read into this very much. 600 years and no one bailed, I can see why it's a big deal. Whoever takes over inherited a giant mess.
