Tossed back an 8 pack of Guinness draught cans,good stuff! Weekday drinking, gotta work Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 12 hour shifts. Seems strange to some weekday 9-5ers that people actually drink weekdays...

Recently I decided to just cut to the chase, and toss back a 12er before heading to work.

Seems weird to me those people who actually show up to work (or any other aspect of their life) sober.

Must not work construction or a trade. Id say 75% of people are either drunk or stoned. Its ****ty work, everybody does it.

Meth is as big here as anywhere, but as far as construction I haven't seen anything or known anyone who's on meth. I hear all about the meth problem but I don't know who these people are

I remember a cbc radio broadcast just stating how big alcohol/pot were in construction, but meth wasn't brought up. I mean the young guys party hard, work a 16 hour shift, drink right after, sleep an hour, back at it. We had one guy who was drunk/hungover and suddenly passed out working a machine, ambulance came in and it was shut down for a few hours. But it was 'stress', it wasn't alcohol related officially.
