Percentage of alcohol content and proof are two separate things.

100% alcohol content would be 200 proof.
100 proof would be 50% alcohol content.

The proof is roughly double whatever the percentage of alcohol content. So saying something is "100% proof" is stupid and wrong.

REAL alcoholics know this stuff already. Now you will look a little less tardish in the future when trying to brag.

Not to mention with perfect distillation you can only get to about 95% alcohol (somewhere around there). I doubt many moonshiners get anywhere close to 100%.

Doubt it. You can buy well over 100 proof right over the counter. He meant 100% alcohol...I would assume if it was possible that it would just evaporate as you are pouring it out.
