re: Posting Personal Info

We don't allow some of the obvious things: don't post your address or phone number - and we even encourage you not to post your email address.

After that, we don't mind if you post personal things as long as the topic is suitable for a public forum and that you remember many others can read it. That, and as long it's not just to rile up others.

This place is a community for many, and many members consider each other friends, it's not really unexpected that people will share stories about their personal lives. We realize that may not interest everybody, and if it doesn't, please just skip over the thread.

A handful of members have been asked not to post things about their personal lives due to each and every thread they do it in deteriorating rapidly and basically becoming flamewars every time they do so.

If a thread is locked or deleted the moderators had cause for doing whatever action they took. If they did not contact you and you want to know why, please write them, do not post a new thread.

This thread will be renamed and have more general Babblin FAQ added to it soon.
