With a single punch, Trayvon Martin decked the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who eventually shot and killed the unarmed 17-year-old, then Trayvon climbed on top of George Zimmerman and slammed his head into the sidewalk, leaving him bloody and battered, law-enforcement authorities told the Orlando Sentinel.

That is the account Zimmerman gave police, and much of it has been corroborated by witnesses, authorities say. There have been no reports that a witness saw the initial punch Zimmerman told police about.

How is this going to play out? I think that the Police will find no credible evidence, that Zimmerman did anything to provoke the altercation, and rule in favor of him. Meanwhile there will be outrage in the black community because their thug son got what he deserved.

Kid was staying with family in the gated community. Went out to buy skittles at 7eleven. Walking back a neighborhood watch dude spotted him and thought he was suspicious, called the police. Police told him not to follow the kid and police were on the way. Police get there and kid is dead and neighborhood watch guy says kid attacked him and he acted in self defense. No arrest made yet.

Apparently there is more to the story that has not been released yet. I read somewhere else that the police have not charged the guy because they want to make sure they have all the facts straight before going further and releasing anything to the media. Rightly so, I think, this could cause a riot of Biblical proportions if this isn't handled correctly. I can’t find the link now but I ran across this on yahoo. Also, the cute innocent little boy picture they have splashed all over the place of the kid is an older picture.

Those two are trying to create something that’s not there as usual. "White" Hispanic doesn't surprise me, I noticed on a few stations that they never mentioned the shooters race (they just flash his picture, he is light skinned for a Mexican) but don't hesitate to say the victim is black.

2. They Altered his pic to make him look slightly 'friendler' in the pic with hoodie


3. The media tagged Zimmerman a "white hispanic", WTF IS THAT?




BTW im NOT defending Zimmerman, if hes guilty he deserves swift punishment, fry him jail him whatever -- the guy is due his day in court thats all, lets hear all the evidence

The way I look at it is that $0.30 bullet just saved the taxpayers of the United States hundreds of thousands of dollars in prison costs for that little thug hoodie wearing idiot. despite what the media is spewing about how "innocent" he was, he was just another idiot looking to steal for it instead of work for it. The truth will eventually trickle out and all these bandwagon supporters will eat their words.

There's a lot, and I mean a LOT of unknown in this story and I could give a crap one way or the other how it plays out. But your opening statement is just as absurd, outlandish, irresponsible, and based on even less than "the media's" portrayal of the story.

pretty much this.

just like the olympic bomber in atlanta, or the duke lax players - this guy has been convicted already through the media. there had to be some sort of confrontation, but that part isn't being reported.

I also wonder what this kid really looked like. I am skeptical that the pics of him holding a baby and all dressed in hollister gear were recent, i mean, he looks like hes about 12 in those.

i agree that if the facts support the claim that he was executed for no reason, the book shopuld be thrown at zimmerman, but until the truth - not the truth manufactured by the media, white guilt and opportunists like sharpton et al - but the real truth, comes out, all the race cards and shyt need to be put away. There's more to this story than meets the eye.
