FBC - Thoughts on those beers? I've seen that variety pack kicking around the LCBO.

Thank you for resizing.

They are ok. Nice and Crisp for when you craving a nice cold beer.

I'm also rocking:

That stuff is awful. I've never understood all of the hype. Maybe because of the high ABV and it is a local PA beer brewed in Harrisburg & Hershey, but I think it is overrated and way way overpriced. I worked at a distributor years ago and we'd have people pre-order it and since you only get a few shipments we'd be out by mid-December. Sure, it get's you drunk, but personally with that sweet taste you can only drink 1 or 2.

I just bought a 6-er of Lancaster Brewing Company's Winter Warmer Ale, 8.9% ABV but has a very hoppy flavor. One of the better ones from LBC in my opinion.

Went to the Genny Brew Pub when I was home this week. Had some decent food and I was putting back some Scotch Ale they make there. Good stuff!! Here's the link to their website: http://www.geneseebeer.com/brew-house

If you find yourself in Rochester, I highly recommend going there. Nice space and lots of delicious Genny products on tap. Scored a nice Genny Cream Ale trucker hat in the gift store.

Also, my gal got me a sixer of Narrangansett Porter and their Cream Ale. I'll be putting a few of those back this evening.

Went to my old stomping ground for a night of brewery fun and Polish culture. Not sure how many of you are familiar with Penn Brewery, but their collection of brews is fantastic. They had a few new ones I had never seen before, and were actually quite good.

Starting to see more and more brewery's pop up in the region, even an hour or more away we see them now too. It's very good to see after years of IC Light and Rolling Rock.

I got a 6pk of Hoegaarden for Christmas. One of my favorites but haven't found the right night for it yet. On a little sober kick + trip coming up. It'll be waiting for me upon my return.

I got a case of Dogfish Head Chicory Stout for Christmas. Very good stuff. I only have 3 left. Time for another beer run! I'm really looking forward to Yuengling Bock beer coming out this spring.

Newcastle is always a solid choice. I like Innis and Gunn as well but it's a bit pricey so definitely not an all the time beer.

I am going to celebrate my Polish heritage by making pierogi and bigos, and drinking some Warka Strong

Had a Helltown Idle Hands IPA the other day. It's brewed here in Pittsburgh. One of the best IPA's I've ever had. With an 8% ABV one of them gets you feeling pretty good.
