I did hear that one of the fathers saying he wished he was dead, but that would be the way i would feel also. I know one thing if you are a parent i suggest you call the kids school and see what they are gonna do tomorrow. I'm hoping i get the right answer. If not they will have a bundle to deal with.

They said on the news last night that the shooter was extremely intelligent. That he was an honour student at his school.

I live in a school district that has had 2 of these type incidents, not including the theatre shooting. I know people who have been directly effected by them. I also know that as a parent I've had to disscuss this scenario with my my son since he was in kindergarten. It's not right, but it is reality.

There are always red flags with these shooters yet they still slip through the cracks and commit their hanus acts. A def a breakdown in our mental health system. What a surprise being headed by our government. Whether its people passing the buck or to affraid to say something there are always warning signs with these people.

I also believe the negative role the media plays by sensationalizing these things is also a contributing factor. While most of us look at these shooters as discusting, there is others who think the opposite. They sit there and fantasize about doing the same thing or worse while watching 24/7 coverage and follow up of these acts.

I DO NOT think this is a gun issue. I think people should be able to carry and conceal to protect there own. People like this will find a way to do whatever it is theyre trying to accomplish with or without more gun laws.

Hopefully these familys affected somehow find peace, and we as a nation can do the responsible things necessary to prevent this BS, but if it does are allowed to take action ourselves. We def shouldn't be relying on Gov to handle it as we all know what useless garbage that is. We as people need to police our own cause waiting on someone else is just gonna get more innocent people killed.

As far as all the religious stuff...

People believe what they want to believe.... whatever makes them feel better. If you don't agree that's fine, but why **** on what someone else thinks? I'm fairly certain that at least a couple of the posters here taking shots at "God" would be among the first to jump to the defense of say... Islam?
