Yeah it is messed up. you can get a center cut pork loin for a 1.99 a lb but bacon is 6.00. it's like chiken wings 1.99 for boneless skinless breasts but wings are 2.80 a lb at the cheapest. I get bacon on sale usually 2 for 6.00 and buy 10 lbs. its the only way to go.

Oven bacon is fine, especially if you need to cook about 100lbs of it, but skillet is the way to go at home.

I have been given bacon that was cooked in a skillet, then microwaved to 'make it crispy' or some BS and it was like eating charcoal.

Neither.
I broil that ****. Set the oven on medium broil, leave the door slightly open at the top, flip twice, and you've got remarkable chewy bacon in less than 10 mins.

I like microwaveable bacon because I can get it nice and crispy. I can not stand fatty bacon. Makes me gag.

Of course, bacon on pizza. Bacon on pretty much anything. A nice BLT is one of my favorites, with mayo, of course.

I add bacon bits to my salads, too. Gotta have some protein.

Bacon is the number one food group and there is nothing better than a good BLT. The best I think I've ever had was in a little dive bar near Tampa on Davis Island. Nothing out of the ordinary but for whatever reason it just stood out.

I remember hearing a few months ago that a worldwide bacon shortage was being predicted.

Bacon wrapped filet is the way to go. Then layer 2 of your favorite cheeses on either side or put a horseradish or blue cheese crown on that bad boy and go to town!

Just an explosion of flavor.

I love me some bacon wrapped fatties. No, not those kind of fatties you derelicts! These...

Unbelievable how good these taste! That one is bacon wrapped sausage stuffed with hash browns, eggs, and cheese. Smoked around 2.5 hours. Its not mine, but I've eaten one like that at my friend's BBQ. I haven't done the breakfast one yet, more the dinner style. Bacon wrapped ground beef stuffed with more bacon, cheese, onions, and mushrooms.
