and your missing the point. It's this love affair with guns in general in this country and the need to have one and the glorification of violence which lends itself to this type of mass killing.

Still nobody willing to answer the question of why the USA has by far the most gun violence in the world and the most lax gun laws. Just keep ignoring a very simple and common sense way of looking at it.

And lets look internally in this country. Hawaii, NY, NJ and MASS. all have the stricktest gun laws (yes gun control) and have the lowest gun violence per capita. How can one spin this as a coincidence?

This guy in colorado if his purchases were more scrutinized PERHAPS this could have been avoided. Instead he purchased a mass murder gun (assault rifle) and purchased tons of ammo over the internet. Obviously this guy was not doing this for personal protection. If his assault rifle didn't jam he would have killed even more people.

The NRA has most AMericans hypnotized with there horse****t about the second amendment. With freedoms come resonsiblitlity. There should be more scrutiny with gun purchases. I'm not against people owning guns at all.

Not taking sides here in the pro-anti gun argument (I'm not even a gun owner) but just a little thought: NY and NJ still have some of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the country. In Harlem, 5 people were shot at a basketball game yesterday. Presumably, not by a legal gun owner...

Also, I'm pretty sure Chicago is currently the most dangerous city in the country and I don't believe they have concealed carry laws in place (NY does). It's really not the legal gun owners doing the everyday damage...

That's just the way it's going to go."

I'm just going by statistics overall. I'm not saying NY or NJ arent dangerous in certain places.

I'm all for legal gun owners. Like I said with freedom come responsibility. Everyone shouts about their freedoms. With it comes responsibility's to everyone else.

Im sure its been mentioned, but police should have killed this guy first chance they had. Now this douch bag will sit in prison on tax payers money for prob 25 years. Even if he gets the death pentaly, it will still be that long due to dumb appeals and other BS. Sad for the famlies involved
