I pitched a perfect game in minor league baseball when I was a kid. Got a special trophy for it, still the only kid in our county to do it. So that I was proud of. Also won the minor league MVP that year. Never really accomplished much more in baseball. Quit and focused on hockey after that. Shouldve kept playing ball

Very nice. I have that going on in July, provided I can get my knee rehabbed in time.

I'm pretty certain I'll be ok cardio wise there seems to be a fair amount of down time between obstacels where you are waiting for people to get over tthem. The electricty doesnt really fase me either the worst bits for me are the tunnels I'm not too fond of small spaces especially small spaces half filled with water.

At this point, just getting my cardio back to where it was. I tore my MCL, again, a few weeks ago. So, I've been dealing with rehabbing that and while it's progressed, still haven't been able to run for the past 3 weeks, and I'm not too sure on when I'll be able to get back to running.
So, the uneasiness about my cardio. Otherwise, I'm not too worried about much of it. I was doing cross training along with running, so obstacles and running shouldn't be too far off from that.

Nice - I'll be at tough mudder too in July (Buffalo Location). I've been going to CrossFit for months to get prepared. It definitely helps.
Not sure if you know but ToughMudder website provide a "training" to get prepared. http://toughmudder.com/training-prep/ |

Played a year and a half of baseball in college (pitcher) until I had my left knee reconstructed due to a pretty nasty high school football injury which eventually wore me down.
However, my favorite sports achievement was striking out 16 batters in one high school game during my Junior year. |

I was a wussy lad. Was shiit in Basketball, I was so bad my dad forced me to quit 2 weeks into it and wouldn't let me have the trophy, in Soccer I was usually a goaltender that let 6-7 goals a game.
I played Baseball for about 3 years until I was about 14ish. I couldn't catch, threw like a girl with parkinsons, was slow as a slug. I had nothing else to do during the summer so I was forced to play, which was ironic cause my parents would never come, i'd walk to the field home and back. One thing I was good at was hitting, but Id wildly swing so It was a foul ball or a very high pop up I would rarely get on base other then for a walk. But I had my moment, a really big one in my final year of playing. After 2 years of my team going 2-11, 4-9. I played on a slightly better team that had good players. All we needed to do was win 1 game to make a playoff run(one that I wouldn't get to go to due to vacation anyways). In a rare occasion my father was at the game, he was a baseball god in Mexico/Cali as a teen/20's. With all his knowledge he couldn't teach my pathetic ass anything, so it was probably disappointing to watch me suck. Was late in the game, I honestly don't remember the score at that point but we did end up winning I remember due to my play starting off a series of hits. By the time I got up to bat I already struck out and popped up twice. The relief pitcher came in, he threw oddly very slow and the ball would sorta just lift a bit which was fooling everyone. My ass came up to bat, I just kept fouling and fouling. Finally he went back to that odd pitch which im sure is called something but I wouldn't' know. The ball was just perfect, I swung and the bitch just went flying I hit it so hard it went out of the field and it went into a playground near the porterpotties next to another field. The outfielder ran halfway and just walked back and they let me get 2 RBI's. Everyone was screaming, the bench of the game next to us came out to watch, I was soooooooo happy probably the best moment of my childhood for the fact I could prove to my dad I did something good, I sorta did a quick turn of the head on 1st base to see my dads reaction. He had his head down and was trying his damn shoe, missed the whole hit . Which has haunted me for years cause he doesn't even remember the play whatsoever. Like I said I was so slow so I only made it to 2nd base, the ump just told me to stay there. But when the other coach said it was "the furthest thing he saw in a while", and the ump going "oh my god" I felt like Babe Ruth. Funny thing, I was amazing at street/floor hockey and was a great dangler, it was too expensive so I never had the chance to get anything but a 5$ stick. Also Mexicans don't like hockey other then gangmembers in need of new swag, me, and Al Montoya.

My final year of organized hockey in the beer league in scottsdale. We won the championship and I won the scoring title by 30 points. I turned 40 and it was time to quit.
