Starting my UFC Training!

I'm so pumped! A UFC gym is opening up near me and I'm gonna sign up as soon as I can! I've bough a whole bunch of Tapout shirts/hats so I'm ready to go pretty hard!

Any other guys on here train UFC? What should I expect?

Sounds wicked!

In just a few days of being there you will be able to school people on here about MMA techniques and show why your favorite fighter is actually better than the guy who just beat him!

Brashear beat your favorite fighter. Undisputed top 5 all time.

Don't know about that man. Just grateful for the oppurtunity that I've been given and we'll see where it goes!

Most people have their training gear for sale on E-bay after a week and go back to donuts and chips. It's not for everyone and if you're going to be rolling?? sparring?? be prepared for aches in places you never ached before. Good Luck, its a solid route to getting in great condition.

Eat Right
Train right
Sleep right.

Extreme Couture in Toronto is very impressive, massive facility, wish I lived closer to it.

I'm pretty sure there isn't any nook or cranny on FBC's body that hasn't ached or been sore (nudge, nudge)...

You certainly seem to have all the terminology down! I've never trained UFC before either! If you want the inside scoop PM RoyJonesJR.... he trains UFC and escaped from jail with a midget! He can also beat a silverback gorilla by keeping him at bay with his jab.Good luck bro!

You mean you're ready to look like a giant doucher?

I mean I could sort of understand why you'd want to spend the extra money to go to a UFC gym as it is probably pretty cool, but what exactly do you need to go out and buy Tapout clothing for to wear to the gym? Not to mention, wtf is training UFC?

Dude. I don't wear it AT the gym. Just before or after. To be honest I like the clothes. No one gives a sports fan a hard time if they wear their teams Jersey out and about so I don't see an issue with it.

The clothes have come a long way since the start!

TapouT is played out. Affliction is where it's at. The more skulls the better.

Judging by this it looks like you're posting just to get a reaction out of people.

By the way, it's an MMA academy or MMA gym... not a UFC gym.

Why don't you go to Canadian Combat Club? That's gotta be close to you.

I repudiate your accusation and am not getting caught up in semantics

I facepalmed at the "I've bough a whole bunch of Tapout shirts/hats so I'm ready to go pretty hard!"

That's good that you're getting into MMA, It's a very fast growing sport... I've been training for the last 3/4 years, not so much for fighting, but mainly to keep in shape, you won't find a better way to keep in shape than training.

It does take commitment if you're totally into it, don't bite off more than you can chew so to speak.

You are focusing on the wrong part.
