The league I play in keep all kind of stats....PIM, G, A, Pts, PP pts, SV %, etc.

Pretty cool...the link is: http://performaxhockey.com/

It's a pretty big and competitive league.

Nope. Like gdameo said, we have official statisticians.

Makes things very cool to follow on the web.

That's awesome stuff our football league only records goal scorers and yellow/red cards

Man, that's awesome! In the league I play in, you're lucky if you get your assists...

well...last night I had a game...first minute into the game...other player was idiot and being reckless with his stick and it hits me in my face. Big cut and lost my tooth.

No penalty either. The refs said they didn't see it.....lol apparently the evidence of my mouth isn't helpful.

Forgot to update about the tournament. went 1-2. Shoulda won all 3 games, but we couldn't finish. Still was lots of fun. first game showed up at 4pm drinkin, played at 7. ended up losing 4-0 tons of chances, but no finishing. Then we Drank until 6 in the morning, slept till 9, game at 11 and actually won that one. One of our boys woke up one shift and sniped 3 in 30 seconds. Then was invisible the rest of the game, hilarious stuff. then the 2nd game that day we needed to win to go to the finals, tied 5-5 guy takes a slow wrister from the sideboards near the hashmarks, and our goalie screwed that up so we ended up losing. but lots of fun. looking forward to the next tounament in a few weeks.

Hung my first gino of the season on the board last night. It was the 15th game of the year, and it was on a 5-3, but I'll take'em any way I can! Ripped a one timer from the top of the circles. One of those shots where I'd generally shoot wide, ring the iron or hit the goalie in the mask - but some how found the twine.

Then, as we're preserving a one goal lead with about 50 seconds left, I get a bull**** cross check penalty. A scrum in front of the net with the puck loose, and I didn't even extend my arms to push a guy. Sat in the box and held my head down the entire time without watching.

We won by 2 after one of the guys nailed the empty net.

Altering the thread a little but had my first soccer game back after christmas this morning, ran out comfartable 3-0 winners. Didnt have much to do gave away a penalty which wasnt a penalty which the guy proceeded to sky over the bar the only other action I saw was late in the game already at 3-0 when I tipped over a point blank deflection, good game to get things going again.

Starting back up in spring league next week.

A very short season (10 weeks), but, a welcome way to get the legs and body warmed back up to hockey after focusing intensely on boxing for the past 4 months.

Just wrapped up the winter league last night. Won the championship (series 2-1)

Game 1 - lost 7-5, Game 2 - won 8-1 and Game 3 - won 3-1.

Pretty good game. Won't be playing for any league for a year...sucks but will be busy with newborn and moving back to Canada. Looking forward to it anyway.

We took a thrashing Monday night. I decided to go another route and play on a team where I knew nobody (even requested to have my brother not on my team), and found out half the people on my team haven't played more than a year or two.

Chemistry early was lacking, and our defense was just awful - due to the inexperience.

I played center for the first time in, oh, I'd say 6 or 7 years now. Played really well. Despite our defensive zone box breaking down a number of times, I found my cardio and skating was my best attributes (cardio better be with how hard I've been working it).

Scored a scramble goal in the 1st. Crashed the crease hard, and the shot from the half wall got away from the tender, so I banged it home.

Then, I had a hell of a second period, six shots on goal and two ringers. Once we came together in the 2nd and started realizing what to do defensively, it opened things up offensively. Only problem, I couldn't score to save my life in all of those shots. I walked the defenseman twice on 1 on 1s, an inside outside move and then a power move with one hand on the stick and the other down to protect the poke check. And the goalie came up huge both times. Took him outside another time, had the angle and shot far side hoping for a kick save to the rushing winger, and I rang it off the post and the deflection escaped my mate. And last, another inside outside to get some shooting space, roast the tender next to the ear, and ring the cross bar.

Solid 3rd as well as we tried evening it, but came up short.

Moving back to defense for our next game. Hopefully can provide some stability back there and keep us from getting down early.
