We have this wannabe tough guy on our team who talks crap all game but when someone comes after him and tries to get him to back up his mouth he turns his back to them, skates away and continues to talk trash over his shoulder. His own team wants to fight him. He's the worst player in the league. He's just on the team because he organizes it and if the team balance is short he always covers the difference. He's that desperate to be on a team. He looks like he's swinging a golf club when he attempts a slap shot and any one of his shots can be caught with a bare hand because they're so slow. He sucks

The guy that runs my team is like 50 years old, he loves playing hockey and being a part of things, he's got brick hands, and usually sits himself when things come down to the wire, nice guy though.

If I feel the game is going south on Sunday, I have a few numbers in the back of my head that would like to send a message to, I'll start it up Scott, then you can come in with a Tie Domi-on-Ulf Samuellson-like punch right to their faces.

, that's a bit central in my book, but I'd love to live in a place that is that centered around hockey.

Rough game tonight as I limp into my house.
Tonight was game 2 of a three game championship series. we started off very slow, they were skating all over us, decent cycling, but our goalie stood on his head in the beginning and did very well. I was back on D, playing on a 3 man rotation. The other team jumped out to a 3-0 lead early, and took it into the 2nd period. They had your typical "men'sl eague goon" running around flapping his lips. Seriosuy, he's just some fat asshole, who a puck may bounce off here and there, but mainly he was chopping at our goalie and running his mouth all night, but I'll get back tot hat later. Well were we are, our goalie is completely out of poisition, and a shot comes from the point, so I take the initiative a lay out to block the shot, I get it right on the inside of ym ankle, and my foot is instantly paralyzed, I couldn't fukking move it. I fell to my ass, and we iced the puck, I did my best to glide to the bench. I was in a lot of pain, and still am. I kept moving the foot, bouncing up and donw on it, so it wouldn't tighten up, I sat ofr aminute or so and got back on the ice. My right foot was dragging the whole time. Well we gfinally got on the board with a short-handed tally, and we started to feel good, then just minutes afterwards, they score again on a rebound, I honestly couldn't make it over to tie the guy up. Well their fat fukking prick goon comes on and is running his mouth, and I'm becoming irritated. Well the puck goes into our zone and right to the goalie, 2 seconds after the fukking whistle the guy chops at our goalie and when I approach him, he yaps, but sates right away. It was at that point I decided if it happens again, I'll take the gamer. Well sur enough, it happens again. They had good control in our zone, and me and him were doing abttle in front of the net, he snuck in some cheap elbows, as I pounded into his lower-back trying to move his fat ass out of the slot. Well my goalie makes the save, the whistle blows, he looks me right in the eye, and chops my goalie. A little scrum developed, and some guys paired off for some facewashes, I chased his fatass down, and said "Fukk it, let's go asshole", I threw a glove in his face and gave him a nice smell of my glove, I removed my helmet, placed my gloves on the ground and said let's fukkin go. Mind you, I was scared shiitless, this guy was much bigger than me, a fat kunt who looks ike he mixes it upa lot. Well he looked at me, and just smiled and said "what are you gonna do ugly?" I replied with a simple "let's go". The fat cocksucker left his lid on, but we square off, just as I'd imagine a square off would be, I loved it. I was so in love with being the main event, I forgot how much bigger this guy was than me, I came in to grab him, got some tit, and then suddenly remembered. I was a bit scared so I went Stortini on him early, and then evolved into a Brash like style. I camein real tight until I got a nice hold of his jersey, as I struggled, he knuckled off a few to the back of my head. Well I finally got 2 hands on his sweater and yasnked him down and back up, I got two rights off to the side of his head, and then came back in close. He knuckled off a few more to the back of my head, I yanked him down again and fired two more rights to his cheek, he snuck in a quick uppercut to my jaw, I came in close again, separated and decided to go all out. I threw two crazy haymakers, the first hitting shoulder, and in between, he got a good one in on my left eye, the 2nd haymaker hit him right next tio his eye, we both fell forward, and then the refs finally came in. We were booted from the game and suspended for the next one (the last one). This guy was pissing everybody off al day, and my team really appreciated that I finally decided to do something about it, their sticks were banging as we were escorted into our locker rooms, the 7 or 8 fans attending the game appreciated it as well. Our team actually came back firing, score two goals in the second, and wound up losing 6-4, we lose the championship, and I have a swollen ass ankle and a potential future black eye Well I'm done until the summer, I' like to read up on some of your guys' activities, let meknow how your season is going.

I have to give it to you man I am surely going to look into a league this summer and hopefully find myself with some great team players who would do the same for me. Sounds like you may have gotten the best of him though good work bud.

Haha, I don't know man, I'm walking around with a limp today and a black eye, his fat ass i probably sitting on his couch eating chips and playing nintendo, that fat slob. I actually seen first-hand what teams like Montreal and Toronto have to deal with. The guy was yapping all game and some of the defenseman were afraid to even stick him in front of the net, the guiys were playing afraid. So I figured whether I'd wi or not, I'm probably not much hlp skating around with a fukked up foot anyway, this way I take this prick out of the game with me. Definitely look into it Scott, I'd say it's worth it. Find yourself a close team, a good group of guys who will stick up for each other. I haven't run into too many men's league goons, I mean this guy was "Men's League Game 7" kind of guy, he felt like he was in the Stanley Cup, as if he were some NHL tough guy. Usually there's a good group of guys who just want to keep skating and be involved in hockey again no matter the age. It is definitely something you should look into.

Don't have a game until early May, but got practice tonight and tomorrow. Really looking forward to the season. Found a league, and work is going to float the bill (sponsered by them) for the sweaters and socks. Needless to say, that is a huge bill off my plate (about $225 for the jersey and socks). Last practice on Tuesday went very well. Snuck two past the goalie, both five hole, and played very well on the blue line. Skating backwards and transitions aren't as easy as they once were, but I'm working on it.
The two main concerns - post concussion syndrome effects and my shoulder. Both felt great. Didn't get dizzy, nautious or anything like that. Quite the plus, after a lacrosse season became, essentially, a wash due to it. Like the make up of our team. We have two solid lines, that play different styles. My buddy from North Dakota's line is the fun and gun - transition style line. Although his fat ass could work on his conditioning. Then we can roll my line that cycles in deep and uses the points for shots. Our goalie is very solid. Good kid too. Can't wait for the season to start up.

Sounds like a serious league, my team had I believe 3 practices during the whole season, haha. Is it a contact league, or light-contact?
