Jamal Mayers has done it before, 05-06, and I could see him doing it again. He has been close the last two years with that feet as well. I think while on the STL clip maybe Backes as well as he hits a ton will have to face the music and Cam and D.J. cannot always get his back.

Suprised nobody had said todd fedoruk ..

last year he found himself on the powerplay , playing on the top line with gabby, but he is in pheonix now so who knows how they will play him.....
he has potential still though.

A darkhorse candidate is Scott Walker. Playing on the third line with a playmaker who is also damaged goods (Matt Cullen) should give him an opportunity to crack 10 and 10.

Riley Cote : watched him play live last night (JLC London Ontario) he was a pleasent surprise to say the least !!! not only can he fight he has good speed and passes the puck real well , think he is a keeper !!!!!

I could see Shane Doan being more active in the fighting department this year. Especially with the likes of Darcy Tucker and Sean Avery (in his division as well) out west now.

Craig Weller might have a chance to do it in Minnesota this year.

Hell, with how nasty the division could get with Darcy Tucker and Darcy Hordichuk in the mix, Owen Nolan could get there too.

Darcy Tucker is a guy I could see getting there.

Ya i definetly can see this happen too, at the end of the last season in the playoffs he started really play well and got a couple of goals, i think he could hit about 10-12 goals this year and hopefully Trotz doesnt tell him not to fight like he did in preseason

Don't get me wrong Shane Doan is a tough player, I just can't see him fighting 10 times this year. Maybe 3-4 times. But when you have players like Carcillo, Todd fed, ect, they won't let him drop too many times.
