I don't suppose you have a website where I can see individual teams iron men? Would be interested in knowing who the Flyers current is and who holds the record. I think it might be Coburn currently?

I'll post individual teams iron men later may be tomorrow or Sunday-Monday.
As for Flyers Rod Brind'amour is their iron man - 484 games. Current is Kimmo Timonen - 234 games.

I thought he missed a game this season with a wrist injury?

I thought Ken Daneyko had a ridiculous streak of games going at one point?

It was 495. Longest streak for a defenceman in the regular season, until Bouwmeester broke it.

I know a lot of people think some of Gretzky's records or even Brodeur's record is unbeatable, but this one is pretty much a guarantee to never be broken.

How the **** could a goalie play that many consecutive games?

In an era where they didnt even wear masks!

Unbelievable.

glenn hall's record is very impressive but it also doesn't surprise me at all. he's an old timer goalie and goalies back then were tough. i think that they were some of the toughest players on the ice. they had such an important role and so little equipment compared to today. it took courage to be a goalie and it took even more courage and strength to be one of the greatest goalies to have ever played the game. i think that glenn hall had that courage and he had the strength and that's why he was a great goalie and he was able to be a great goalie for so long and for so many games in a row. he's a man that has my complete respect.

Didn't Larmer’s end due to a contract dispute between he and old man Wirtz and that’s how he ended up a Ranger?

Did Doug Jarvis basically never miss a game in his whole career? That's pretty amazing to me. He played exactly 964 NHL games and never missed a game. I guess he is the only one to do so.

Hall and Jarvis' records are immense!

Jarvis was also only 5.9 170lbs, and was he not a first line opposition checking centre, i.e. always against the top lines ? Hell, in 85/86, he even managed to play 2 more games than anyone else by playing for two teams!!!
