Goal differential in a playoff series?

I THINK I heard the guy on the TSN say that with +11, Ottawa had the largest margin of a playoff series in NHL history. That can't possibly be right. I'm wondering what the actual stat was, or failing that, what's the record for the most lop sided series in terms of goals?

Thanks if anyone can figure out what I misheard in the early morning!

From what I could find, the highest goal differential over an entire playoff series is the Oilers' +22 (35-13) when they beat the Calgary Flames in 5 games in the 1983 division finals. The results, via hockey-reference:
Code:
Game 1 April 14 Calgary Flames 3 Edmonton Oilers 6
Game 2 April 15 Calgary Flames 1 Edmonton Oilers 5
Game 3 April 17 Edmonton Oilers 10 Calgary Flames 2
Game 4 April 18 Edmonton Oilers 5 Calgary Flames 6
Game 5 April 20 Calgary Flames 1 Edmonton Oilers 9
Two series had a +20 goal differential, both 28-8.

Bruins over the Blues in a sweep in the 1972 semifinals:
Code:
Game 1 April 18 St. Louis Blues 1 Boston Bruins 6
Game 2 April 20 St. Louis Blues 2 Boston Bruins 10
Game 3 April 23 Boston Bruins 7 St. Louis Blues 2
Game 4 April 25 Boston Bruins 5 St. Louis Blues 3
And the Rangers over the Flyers in 5 in the 1979 quarterfinals:
Code:
Game 1 April 16 New York Rangers 2 Philadelphia Flyers 3 (OT)
Game 2 April 18 New York Rangers 7 Philadelphia Flyers 1
Game 3 April 20 Philadelphia Flyers 1 New York Rangers 5
Game 4 April 22 Philadelphia Flyers 0 New York Rangers 6
Game 5 April 24 New York Rangers 8 Philadelphia Flyers 3

How about PIM (low) total in a series or hits total (newer stat) in a series stat boy?

Kings/Blues was an insane amount of hits, that I of course can't remember but CBC kept showing it throughout the series and they were nearing 100hits ahead of any other series this season. All the while being relatively low in PIMs (74-ish minutes I think).

Edit:

-The teams combined for 479 hits in the series (LA: 241, STL:238).

there was a lot of hitting thats for sure! whoever has to play the kings next should buckle up

I'd be interested in the worst goal differential while winning a series. a team gets blown out 3 games and wins close games the others for a terrible goal differential, but win the series. That'd be pretty cool
