Comprehensive List of Players' Gordie Howe Hat Trick Totals

I've long been annoyed at how it is nearly impossible to find any information on how many gordie howe hat tricks certain players have had in their careers. So I decided to tirelessly search through old box scores to find exactly that, the totals of players I've always been interested to know. And I thought that other people may like to know these totals too.

Forget what you've read from other sites or publications, this is the most accurate and longest list of players' career GHHT totals you've certainly ever come across.

Note: Both regular season and playoff GHHT's included in totals.

Great job dude.

Tocchet was the man. I would've expected to see Chris Gratton in there, though, and maybe even guys like Brad May, Darren McCarty, Chris Simon, Matt Barnaby..and perhaps Ken Linseman and Laurie Boschman of older players..not to mention Tiger Williams..but I understand boxscores that old may be hard to come by.

I'm always continuously working on this list man, I'll have a lot of those guys up soon. I've already researched Chris Simon though, he surprisingly doesn't have a single one.

Great work

A couple of possible Dmen to rack up a GHHT, may or may not have, I don't know.

Dave Manson
Scott Stevens

A young Chris Chelios may be another player to consider.. all three racked up big offensive numbers and liked to fight, at least at one part of their respective careers.

I was actually working on a good list of my own, complete with dates. I also tabulated a list of which franchises have been involved in the most, both for and against.

Unfortunately, my computer crashed and burned about a month and a half ago, so I lost that information.

As long as as I'm not overlooking them on your list, Gregory Campbell and Tanner Glass have gordie howe hat tricks.

Good stuff, the Gordie will become more and more rarer as fighting continues to be phased out of the game. Very nice first posts dude, welcome to the site.

Great work, good way to make friends around here! I appreciate your work and will use it as a reference. Can't believe Crosby's on the list.

Look at all the power FW's on the list. Iggy's the active leader.

It was the game when he had his first fight against Ference.

Yeah, I remember that fight. Glad to see his name there, he's very polarizing on this site.

It's beyond any reasoning how a "GOAL ASSIST and FIGHT" ever became known as the Gordie Howe hat trick , in his entire hockey career he only did it twice !!!!
