I think Colorado's all-time fighter is Scott Parker. Simon, while one of the best, was more of a floater.

No question wearing an Avs jersey it was Chris Simon.

If I can go off the books a bit and pick someone I have only seen on video it would be Bob Gassoff, going on who I have seen it would be Tony Twist.

Since I personally ranked Behn Wilson #1 all time, it would make sense that I'd also rank Wilson as #1 for Chicago and Philadelphia as well. T800m101 has a good Flyers list. I agree with his first 4 (but not in that exact order), but as #5, I would put Bridgman instead of Schultz.
I'd pick Wendel Clark over Tie Domi as #1 for Toronto I'll go with Larry Playfair over Rob Ray as #1 for Buffalo. (this would be on fighting ability alone). |

Edmonton
1) Laraque (If we are going with Brash in Van then BGL is #1 in Edmonton due to having the belt while playing for Edmonton) not my favorite but #1 2) McSorely and Semenko: Marty had three great years for the Oil where he only lost 5 times in 61 fights and had a great card....Semenko was very high profile and had a good long run....he was around for the first cups and was Wayne's body guard but for me he faded hard at the end and the way he went out taints me a bit.....his win loss record was good but he just didn't beat enough of the top 5 for my taste.....perhaps i am bias but i love a battler like Marty Mac 3) Dave Brown....best pure fighter to ever wear the Oil uniform....best quality vs quantity card while in Edmonton....but his 35 fights wasn't quite enough to put him above the other guys Last edited by brad houghton; 10-18-2009 at 11:00 PM. |

For the Stars, it have to be Shane Churla, held his own very well throughout his time on the Stars, McRae was good, but inconsistent at times. Richter was tough but I found him a spot picker for a big guy

I dont normally venture into this forum because I am too young.
But, I always loved watching Wayne Cashman fight. So he would be my pick for the Bruins. In my lifetime, I always loved PJ Stock.

From who I saw play on a regular basic......
1 - Tie Domi 2 - Wendel Clark 3 - Wade Belak 4 - John Kordic 5 - Ken Baumgartner Craig Berube was only here for half a season, so I didnt count him. And obviously Colton Orr will crack my list in the near future

Kurtenbach was before my time. Growing up, after he was retired, he lived nearby, and I used to see him around all the time. He had a very intimidating look that kid of said 'you little 5hit, you better not ask for my friggin' autograph.' I just remembered this, but we used to deliver the newspaper to Canucks GM, Jake Milford's house. At any rate, off rep, yes Kurtenbach is a contender for the top Canucks spot. Was he considered 'champ' at any point in his Canucks tenure? I know he had the really bad back at the time. |

I put him on my list, but have no fights with him. Put him there for old times sake. I think his back limited him fighting wise. The Canucks had a really tough, tough team those first couple seasons.
