Tough guys and Lord Stanley

Alright, lets start talking about the Cup! Lets hope my Hawks claim their 2nd one in my lifetime! Now, has there ever been a more emotionally charged tough guy Cup reaction than Peluso sobbing? Typically, the wretched network does not have the courtesy to broadcast the entire roster getting their skate time with the Cup. This pisses me off royally because, in my opinion, the designated policeman should be one the first to get his moment. I'm sure the teammates of that fighter would agree with me. What other fighters, aside from Peluso, have displayed an absolute appreciation for getting his chance to hoist his childhood dream? One that sticks out is Timmy Hunter. The usual stone faced bruiser was ear to ear in jubilation when he got his chance.

Andre Roy was just crazy in celebration when the Lightning won the cup. He was skating around doing funny tricks on his skates, I can't get that image out of my head, and then he poured beer on just about everyone in the locker room, including me. It was awesome.

It's such a long ordeal to win the cup, the emotions that come out of grown men are so intense.

Aaron Downey. I remeber cbc doing a while segment piece on him and his xomeback story when the redwings last won the cup. Also Darren McCarty cbc spent extra time with him

I just love it when the team enforcer gets to hoist Lord Stanley, is there ever a guy who is more deserving than him? But let's get real here, winning a cup in a short season is bogus, I know some posters here will have a different view but to me it doesn't count for anything and doesn't do justice to the teams that have to suffer through a whole season of injuries, trades and pain to earn it.
