If you're insinuating that Ulf is simply hated because he's European, then you're way off. There are plenty of dirty Canadian players who draw plenty of hate from hockey fans and players.

Most fans are two faced morons, they like anyone on their own team but put them in a different jersey and they would despise that player, a guy like Ulf.

Lunk heads like Jack Lambert are just fans, they like everyone on their favorite team, his admission that he liked Ulf doesn't carry any more weight than some regular fan walking into the arena, of course they are going to root for their team no matter who plays on it. I'm sure he loved Mario too and didn't complain when he'd dive to the ice after a brush of a shoulder from an opponent.

Teammates are different. Even if a guy is a douche of a player like Ulf was, his teammates are going to have his back and may even be friends with him off the ice. That's fine and understandable, you have to have good chemistry.

I am NOT one of those types of people. If a guy is a dick, he's a dick, it doesn't matter what jersey he wears, if you play like Ulf did and you LIKED the way he played, you've got issues. Admiring someone who hurt more people than smoking is just twisted, it really is. Celebrating a player injuring someone, turtling, and being a tool on the ice is sick and you have issues.

We had Darcy Tucker on the Lightning at one point and just thought he was such a douche, I never cheered for that clown because he did all kinds of stupid stuff.

Seeing people actually praise Ulf makes me want to vomit and I've lost all respect for you as a poster and a person. That's just how I am.
