Lindros was a great player, has great numbers in the league, was a leader on his team and tried his hardest game in and game out, that's the memory I have of him, not to mention how physical he was, freight training guys, fighting if he needed to, he was a real force in this league. He is HOF worthy in my opinion.

Pavel Bure was a completely different player, fast, great hands, and a sniper's nose for the net. He is also worthy.

While we're at it, Dave Andreychuk is also very deserving of the HOF, most power play goals ever, clean player who took loads of abuse in front of the net, and captained the Lightning to a Stanley Cup victory but he doesn't get in because he won a cup, he gets in because he was a great hockey player, same as Lindros and Bure.

I think you'd find it very difficult to come up with 3 more different players than Bure, Lindros, and Andreychuk but all worthy of the HOF.

Both guys deserve it.

Bure was the most exciting player I saw. I had superior speed during a time when the game was a lot slower then today. His stickhandling, shot and accuracy all at high-speed was incredible to watch.

Lindros was Lindros. It's unfortunate that he is remembered because of his injuries and bitching around (more often it was his father then himself) during his time in Philly. At his best he had it all and was absolutely dominant. I remember him being a beast at a young age, nobody else after him came even close to what he did in his early years, he fought, he hit, he scored he dominated the games in the corners and in front of the net. Look at all the big centers after him...Staal, Getzlaf, Thornton, Lecavalier, they are all ******* compared to Lindros.

You're an idiot. go ahead and try to floor me silly for agreeing with him because you know what, its the HOCKEY HALL OF FAME its not the NHL hall of fame.

This 'he never won a stanley cup he shouldnt be in the hall of fame' is BULL. Its a terrible argument. A lot of great players are buried on a crappy team because of contracts etc. If you're trapped in columbus like say Rick Nash Was, all you have to go on is international play and stats because the franchise is going no where

I dont agree with letting in these random WOMEN hockey players and players who have accomplished FAR LESS and were never as good as Eric Lindros, but the hockey hall of fame inducts them therefore International play and accomplishments outside of the NHL has to be included as a factor.

Bure and Lindros's points per game are close and you can argue a HART TROPHY is more important than scoring title.

I never personally agreed with penalizing guys inn any sport who don't hold rings. Having them is a nice bonus or icing on the cake but IMO, it shouldn't be a determining factor in seperating individual players.

Jim Plunkett quarterbacked two championship teams but i don't think anyone would argue he's better than Dan Marino etc.

First example that came to mind

Bure helped a team of lunch-pailers damn near win the Cup in 94.

Only guy who dosn't think he deserves a spot in the HOF is Chainsaw.
