They better win tonight. I am going to really jinx them by predicting the Kings do in fact win the cup tonight. Richards with the game winner.

Debs made the cardinal mistake in hockey when you've got things going your way. Don't piss the other team off with a cheap dirty hit.

You have a point, FF.

The zebra's could have made a hit from behind call on the Kings, but didn't. The Devils did get called. Whether the first one was called doesn't matter. The Devils hit was called and it was deserved.

It is going to take a lot of luck for the Devils to dig out of a four goal deficit

It wasn't the calls so much the way I see it Mags. The Kings have had plenty of PP chances and done nothing. They finally got mad, especially Brown, and played like they wanted some payback for Scuderi. Debs chip one in but time is not on their side.

Brown's play has definitely turned the game in the favor of the Kings. But, before the 5 minute penalty, the score was 0 to 0. Scoring 3 times on that penalty is difference in the game.

It opened the scoring door for the Kings.

The last team I actually watch celebrate the cup is the Bruins only because I like them. I can't stand watching other teams parade around with the cup.

Congrats to the Kings. Nice to see the franchise win the cup after 45 years. Something the franchise couldn't even accomplish even with Gretzky on the team. I was especially happy for Luc Robitaille when he held the cup. Luc was one of my favorite players growing up and he's been the heart of that franchise for many years. Even after leaving twice he always found his way back home. Well done to Quick on earning the Conn Smythe too. His numbers were outstanding.

Never thought I would ever say this but "I AM GLAD THIS HOCKEY SEASON IS OVER" !!!

I never missed one home game of three local teams , or one playoff game , one team went to the Memorial Cup , another local team played for the Sutherland cup (junior "B" championship) , took in about 40 road games , spent time at some major minor tournaments watching hockey from early morning until all 20 teams involved had played , that's 10 games a day , spent 5 days at such tourneys , the days I wasn't at a rink I was watching hockey on the tube .

I came to the conclusion we just should NOT BE WATCHING HOCKEY IN THE MIDDLE OF JUNE !!!!!!!

I made a bet with a co-worker that Gretzky would never win another Stanley Cup once he was traded to LA , he paid up the day Gretzky retired ..

Let me add my congratulations to the L. A. Kings!!!

It is nice to see a team win their first cup ever. 45 years is a long time to wait for a cup. Up until a couple of years ago I could tell you about that.

It would be nice to see the Canucks and the Blues add their names to the Cup in the near future. They are both overdue for that honor.

I must confess that after the second round, I too, lost a lot of interest in the playoffs. It was nice to see fresh blood going after the cup, but, the playoffs just seemed to lack something. It wasn't just the fighting, more like overall excitement. I don't know. Maybe you guys have an opinion on this.

I saw most or all of three of the finals games. I think part of the reason I watched was because it was the finals.

I dont know why but I never lose interest in hockey no matter who is playing , to me it is the only sport worth watching .
I am not a baseball fan . Granted I played the game and loved it , but just hate watching it as a fan , football is the same thing , the only time I watch is when the playoffs come around .
In a couple weeks I will probably be back in an arena watching the guys work out for next season , just cant stay away for two months ..
