I'm rarely ever mistaken when it comes to Behn Wilson fights, 1. He was on PHI and he had Cooperalls. Just watched it again on Youtube.

Your right, I,m wrong. I got Babych confused with another St. Louis Blues player that Wilson fought when he was with the Blackhawks. He broke the guy's jaw with his patented upper cut. I'll try to get the player's name.

Probably John Smyrke.

I love Cooperalls ahaha no wonder the Flyers were so fn' tough, with the amount of trash talk that must have been flying their way you'd have to be.

You're right Battleship, Wilson was with Philly when he fought Smyrke and don't think Gentle Behn was sporting Cooperalls (but could be wrong). Have to agree that those Coops were brutal and was really tragic was that the Whalers wore them for a period of time as well.

I think if the Rangers ever wore them back then I'd become a Islanders fan. Though then again maybe Nick Fotiu would have fought more being everybody would be goofing on him. And just think how "irate" Clark Gillies would be all the time if the Isles were forced to wear them.

Just watched it 'hawk, yeah it was in 79 ...no Coops. Love the avatar...too bad there weren't too many punches thrown and landed. Talk about glass chins!!!

Wow , that Cummins - Marshall was great top 10 for sure, don't think I saw that one before...excellent.

Hull vs Ferguson
Maloney vs Perreault
Grimson vs McSorley
Ruskowski vs Jonathan
Russell vs Marchment
Wilson vs Clark
Lemieux vs Snepsts
Magnuson vs Vadnais
Hull vs Watson
Grimson vs Probert

Honorable mention to...

Russell vs Kimble
McNeil (Al) vs Fleming
Manson vs Stevens
Ravlich vs LeMaire
Secord vs Clackson
Ruskowski vs Tocchet
Wilson vs McGill
and many Ryan Vandenbussche fights

These are all fights I've seen with the exception of Dan Maloney & Gil Perreault. The Chicago Tribune and the Hockey News described this fight as one of the best ever with both guys landing numerous shots. It was called a draw, but Maloney suffered a broken nose, so Perreault can really brag about his only NHL fight. This is one I'd really love to see a clip of. Hull / Ferguson has to be on there. Hull beating the much hated Ferguson was a highlight of my younger years. Hull / Watson could be either time Hull snapped and pounded Watson. And I had to throw Maggie's greatest victory on my list. Obviously there's many I missed and (or) didn't see, but these come to mind.

It wasn't Smyrke. I just went through the entire Blues roster for the 4 years that Wilson was a B-Hawk and no name rang a bell. I wanted to say Rob Ramage but I'm almost sure the player was a forward. I remember the incident, Wilson dumped the puck in from the neutral zone and this guy goes at him low but misses. This pisses Wilson off and he forces the guy to defend himself which he doesn't do very well.

Didn't John Marks and Rick Dudley have a barnburner that hasn't made it to video?

Dirk Graham-Steve Thomas

Computer is having problems or i'd look up Cam Russell.

Goode calls on each and all but wasn't the Manson-Paterson fight when "charlie" was in edmonton?
BW i was lucky enough to see the Marks Dudley fight on the sports news in Saskatoon the day after the game. back then we would get allot of fights day after on the evening sports news

a good friend of mine saw Battleship Kelly Schultz x2......and i am still the only guy i know who was lucky enough to see Marks Dudley

a crazy fight that was about 60 seconds in length and had a huge punch count....it started out Between centre ice and the blue line with Dudley throwing about 8 to 10 unanswered punches and i thought.....oh god this Chicago guy i have never heard of is going to get blown out....then Marks unloaded a flurry of about 8 to 10 punches while Dudley appeared to rest.....this set the pattern where they would each take turns with about 10 punch flurries....it was a crazy fight that ended up behind one of the nets.

i had never heard of Marks and new a little of Dudley....it was one of the best fights i had seen up to this point in my life....the punch count was at least 50 per fighter

as far as i know i am the only guy who has seen this fight and i am dying for some old hawks fan to come on here that saw the bout as well so i can validate my memory of the event

this fight would definately rank in the top 10 hawks fights that i have seen!

Nothing special but Jim Vandameer also had a good one with the caps Jean Luc Grand-Pierre the season before the lockout when washington had their fire sale and dressed guys like JLGP and Darcy Verot.

Couple more:

In-studio analyst Steve Konroyd getting pummeled by Churla when Konroyd was a d-man for Hawks.

For some reason I always remember Alain(?) Daigle (#17) pounding on someone. I believe it was his one and only fight, but he got off a flurry on someone. Anyone remember this????

Alain Daigle had a few bouts that I heard on radio, I think I have him fighting Gord Lane but the Chi announcers sem to think Daigle was pretty tough. I have very little video though.
