Well, I do kinda have to give him credit for that. [we] Nothing worse than a homer who is overdoing it though.[xx(] Twist is not top 10 and I will argue this with anyone.
OK, Nealy08 you can come back if you promise to be good and remove Twist, Probert, and Kocur and replace those stiffs with Byers, Baumgartner, and Cashman. [crazy] |

thats nice of you.letting me back in,but i still think twist is one of the great fighters. The reason boston bruin fans are homers is because we have to be able to win at fighting because we never win the cup
I know i spelt neely wrong how do i fix it? |

I notice in KordicNilanRoberge's Top 10, he has 6 Habs, but the four other guys he has would all be considered "power punchers" . . . Kocur, Twist, Laus, Ray . . . interesting . . . I suppose an argument could be made for Nilan as a Top 10, maybe tougher for a number 1 spot, but I'll respect it . . . certainly Kordic can be considered a Top 10, maybe Top 5 . . . if Odjick fought his entire career like he fought in his first 3 to 4 seasons, we could be talking Top 10, but I don't know if he was dominant for a long enough time . . .
Vukota? Well, he was pretty tough, when he wasn't looking to do the Stan Jonathan-like takedown - a stretch perhaps . . . Ciccone???? Well, I haven't seen enough of him, but what I did see wasn't overly impressive - needless to say, a stretch of maybe the grandest proportions . . . Roberge? Interesting pick . . . not sure if I ever saw him lose a fight (and there is another post that rated him Number 1 all-time) . . . the problem with him is that his run in the NHL was so sporadic - how many fights did he actually have at the NHL level - wasn't a particularly intimidating fighter either (like a Link Gaetz) I've got Kocur Number 1 of course, and Twist Number 10 currently, and I have no problems with somebody putting Ray in their top 10 - probably will end up with the most KOs/KDs of any fighter I've ever seen, and has been doing it a LONG time (with the same team) - hasn't been a "joke" in about 10 years either . . . Laus? To each his own, I don't have him in my Top 25 right now, but I would consider him one of the all-time power punchers, and that goes a long way in my book . . . |

So, what is the collective knock against Dave Tiger Williams? In your humble surveys has he broken any of your top 20s, if not please explain. Thx Mean, tough, guy who played with loads of heart and fury. Good fighter but certainly not a great one. When he went to Vancouver he was probably the third best fighter on the team behind Snepsts and Fraser. |

I have seen a lot of uneventful fights involving Tiger either as a King or a Canuck where he just seems content to stay in close and wrestle.
He did, however, have a very good showing against Behn Wilson when he was a Leaf. I doubt I would have him in my top 50 all time. It would take some serious thought. |
