1. Probert
2. Brown 3. Kocur 4. Twist 5. Wilson 6. McSorley 7. Semenko 8. Grimson 9. Brashear 10. Laraque Wendel Clark in the top 10, wtf?! Anyone that has him in their top 10, hell even top 30, should re-evaluate themselves. Tocchet was a better fighter than him and he's not in my top 30.

What???
Rob666, first that is a lousy screen name, second Kocur #1 and Berube in your list? Do you watch much hockey? Kocur was a great fighter but not a top 10, Dave Richter used to kick his a@#, so did Wendall Clark and they were cousins! Knocking out Jim Kyte does nothing for me. Berube, okay so he beat Probert, once, breaking his nose. Lyndon Byers broke Berubes cheek does that put byers in the top ten?? Behn Wilson was hands down the best fighter, Probert fought more and won more, then you have Dave Brown. Period end of story

Agreed, Kocur fought just as many if not more than Probert. The guy had a freaking iron fist. It wasn't knicknamed "The hammer" for nothing. Craig Berube I'll admit, he was fun to watch but he wasn't Probie, Kocur, Miller, Domi material. |

Blouin, valid point!
My 10 as you probably realised is mainly based on a combination of lack of defeats and the intimidation factor. All of the 10 guys on my list "maybe"? with the exception of Brashear, were guys who were generally left alone as guys knew how dangerous they all were - Hence I guess a lack of fights in some cases like Playfair, Gillies Fotiu etc. Sleeping Giants and all that. As we know from their records, they were all rarley beaten in their primes and even after that. If i was to base my 10 on fighting and winning ability alone, Domi would get in the 10 but I just think he wasn't as intimidating as Semenko and co, plus got beaten more often. Not a knock on Domi, think he was amazing, especiall considering his size but in my eyes he was never as much as a deterrent as any of the guys in my top 10. Take away the intimidation element, basing it on fighting skills and wins, my 10 would read more like this: Probie Brown Wilson Kocur Gillies Playfair Simon McKenzie Berube Domi That's a bit more of a personal like list, and I would always use list 1 when rating my top 10 ever. Feedback welcome.
