McSorely-2
Berube-5 Brashear-3 Tiger Williams-8 Probert- 1 Kocur-4 Domi-6 Ray-7 Odgers-9 Buchberger -10 Is that what you're looking for? I just ranked them the same as my other rankings. Top 3 are pretty easy and the last 3 don't even fit in the top 50 so I gave the 8th spot to Tiger. Odgers and Buchberger were game warriors but not very good fighters.

Chris Nilan and Stu Grimson belong on there ahead of some other names.
Is this just another way of saying the same thing again?

hah, I read ILB's tribute to Kocur or rather his right and now I wanna put Kocur at #1, as I've been kinda thinking about it anyway. I'm sure most players would've rather fought a prime Probert before a prime Kocur and thus be sure to fare a little better, as in healthier.

Poor Buchburger, 250 losses is not easy to take.

Interesting note, the ONLY player I know of to have more than 250 regular season fights is Tie Domi.
I didn't count preseason or playoffs in my career totals on my rankings list. I think it would be interesting to see who of the top 50 has the most playoff majors for fighting. Maybe I'll do that when I have time and list each guy and how many playoff fights they have.

Is there any reason why we wouldn't count preseason or playoff fights? I've seen great great fights in both the preaseason and the playoffs-do they simply not count? Maybe a bit off topic but it's worth asking as this kind of thing has come up before. a fight is a fight in my book no matter when it happens. mikeB-you absolutely should count preseason and playoff fights in your rankings. man I can still remember that unbelievable war between grimson and vial in the preaseason or that fantastic probert-angelstad fight as well. there's no way i can disregard them because they happened in the preaseason. jonathan's epic bloodying of bouchard in the playoffs, the great series between gillies and o'reilly in that classic playoff series. wensink-nystrom-the list goes on and on.
