For my team, I wanted more than just what is called toughness. I wanted tenacity. Players who, no matter what their size, would get in your face and not back down, making it miserable to play against them. That’s why Hull, Mikita, and Magnuson. Listed in no particular order Forwards: Bobby Hull Stan Mikita Ted Lindsay Bob “Battleship” Kelly Curt Fraser Al Secord Terry Ruskowski Bob Probert Dan Maloney Jim Cummins Mike Peluso Stu Grimson HM: Reggie Fleming Ryan VandenBussche Defense: Keith Magnuson Dave Manson Behn Wilson Bob McGill Enrico Ciccone Jerry Korab Randy Holt HM: Steve Smith, Jim Vandermeer Goalies: Glenn Hall Tony O I’ll go with these guys for now.

Boivin was just a real tough hard nosed defenseman that had one of the best hip checks in the league. He retired with over 1000 penalty minutes and played side by side with Flaman for years. Leo could handle himself well but not like Flaman.
