My home team one game roster

Maybe this has been done before on this site but hey its sounds like a fun project for the old timers

all time toughest players for each team line up for one game 19 players like a real game

12 wingers centers 6 d men 1 goalie i have been watching kings hockey from day one so i have them (after a little research)
original 6 fans have almost 100 years to draw from expansion fans almost 50 in some cases and just to be fair we will let ranger fans pick from old new york Americans team as they have always lacked toughness and will have a hard time filling the roster YUK YUK

goalie al simmonds ..had a cobra on goalie mask enough said

randy holt ..crazed brawler took holmgrems 3 best shots without flinching then wobbles him with a shot out of no where

ken baumgartner...started on d once lined up for half a season with my 3rd d man

marty mcsorley ..stick swinging in the end because could not fight anymore but in prim was something else

dean kennedy ..underrated fighter over shadowed by wells but rock chekeryn in philly big time among other triumphs

jay wells..all time fav knock out in first nhl fight came back to have great carrier 3 times one game with prime brown

gille maronte..from the 60's caption crunch could not lick his lips in fights..losing to bobbie baun in maple leaf brawl but could throw a check

i skipped larry robinson cause he will always be a hab in my mind and had maybe half a fight in years as king ..on to the forward line

9-Langdon - tough
10-T.Ryan - wouldve like to see him pan out
11-Laraque - imagine in his hayday
12-Odjick - was good on his hayday too

1-Robinson - tough all round dman
2-Odelein - tough stay at home
3-Souray - was mean and had no problem going against smaller guys for the sake of it
4-Quintal - good shutdown dman and could throwdown with heavies
5-Kordic - tough mother****er
6-Manson - liked him

LOS ANGELES KINGS forward lines

LOS ANGELES KINGS FORWARD FOR ONE GAME

1ST LINE

DAN MALONEY..best king fighter ever only saw him lose one fight to dave schultz in philly saw on tv he rock schultz from outside but when inside to finish the job schultz nailed and my hero clutched for life heard him lose fight on radio to

BERT WILSON..as a king never saw him lose a fight he beat a prime ben wilson and almost a prime dan maloney if footage existed would be in alot of top tens on this site

terry ruskowski.. wow this guy could throw kind of like short like stan johnathan but a real player not a show boater

2nd line

tiger williams..what a exciting nut job he was when got to kings will hit you before you drop gloves king of sucker punch what not to love

dave hutchison..i know most of his carrier was as a dman but he really belonged up front as a stone foot forward ..saw him live jump bobby nystrom for the win and knocked down rookie terror willie plett in atlanta during play off game whats not to love oh and stick swinging with above tiger

george parros..yes that george parros not all that great but played for ducks to so gets socal street cred

3rd line

stu grimson...another king that turned into a duck or was it other way around

kelly buchberger..lost every fight but never his confidence the bravest fighter i have ever seen

ryan flynn..scarry guy baldhead crazed look maybe lasted 10 games before being knock out by brad man

4th line

mike corrigan..another guy from 60's amazingly enough saw him beat a rookie gary howett live and get clobbered by larry robinson the next year in the same game that bob murdock got knocked out by doug reisborro yet came back for a hug a thon with serge savard

al tuer..another nut from late 70's liked to fight super stars players i recall two fights with ryan walter of washington..i think

whitty whighting..imaging growing up in south central los angeles with a name like that a swedish kid in the hood have to be tough to servive that

for a 40 yearold ralph bakstrom no less the footage i saw of dan with the hawks was not all that impressive (getting uppercuted to death by old ironhead teddy green) but he made those great king teams of the 70's..ofcoarse dans most famous punch ups were the bust up of stev darbano of the blues the end of that season broken jaw ect. and the knock down of don saliski of flyers after 3 teamates got beat up by clemmet schultz and kelly in a linebrawl..victums i believe were gil maronte dan kozak vic vanasky

Toronto Maple Leafs (in no particular order). Probably missing a few guys but this is who i came up with off the top of my head:

Forwards:

Wendel Clark
Ken Baumgartner
Dan Maloney
Craig Berube
Tie Domi
John Kordic
Tiger Williams
Colton Orr
Kevin Maguire
Shayne Corson
Gary Roberts
Dave Semenko

Defense:

Todd Gill
Bob McGill
Wade Belak
Bob Rouse
Gary Nylund
Jim Korn

Goalie: Felix Potvin

Darcy Tucker could make the cut somewhere too.

The devils

yes you guys were worthy opponent for the king stanley cup Juggernaut . clearly our team is big young tough and fast built to last we have the best goaltender and defence man in the league 4 legitimate lines that can score size at center and future stars in the pipeline king and nolan are tough guys that can score and play and we still have a future star goalie to trade if a need materializes its good to be king
