No dislike for Chris Simon........

I am very aware that Fotiu hit BW with a right at the end of the fight - but the left-hooks or any lefts shows BW wide open
I liked Chris Simon but didn't like some of his "dirty tactics" towards the end of his career in the NHL.

I guess we just have a difference of opinion:

Because you rank Chris Simon #2 all-time and he is not even in my top 10.

Because you think Big Behn had a problem with lefties and I don't.

Because I thought Simon had balance issues and you don't.

The fact is they NEVER fought each other, any opinion would be clearly "SPECULATION", a popular word around here.

So I will "speculate" by saying that Big Behn beats Simon in a best of 10 series! After all, it would be difficult for Simon to land a left from the ice

Thats cool!
I mean being upfront and saying you don't like Simon explains much. It would be an interesting series

I contributed whole heartedly to the thread, addressing the topic, you've contributed NOTHING except your usual bullshyt about Chris Simon and how he would have beat Behn Wilson because he was left handed and Wilson took a sucker punch left from the weasel, Paul Baxter.

Where do you come up with this crap? I'll give you this, you're the one who is original, I don't think anyone outside of Shady Acres Mental Hospital could come up with the shyt you come up with.

Try discussing the topic at hand which is most effective team villian and unless it is Kocur, Wilson, or Brown being discussed, STFU! If they're the topic, fine, babble away but you're ruining threads with this BS, I really wish the mods would just delete your crap instead of letting it devolve but I honestly think they just want to let it happen to see how bad you look and trust me, you look really, really bad.

I have no axe to grind here but clearly, you do and it's getting really boring.

For me my most hated "villian" was Kevin Dineen. Being a Bruins fan growing up in CT and having to watch Dineen was bad enough but having to listen to Whaler fans talk about him like he was some kind of tough guy was absolutely sickening.

If you ask me he was a very underated agitator. He would run around the ice hitting guys, sticking guys, getting in little cheap shots behind the ref but seldomly backed it up. Yes I know he fought the likes of Brown, Miller and Wells but so did almost every other top notch villian. He wasn't as dirty as a Samuelsson (one of my other most hated players) but he was still chippy and I hated him.

Funny thing is I never hated Nilan. Even though he played for the hated Habs and knocked Middletons teeth out I still respected and loved the way he played the game. I never missed a chance to see the Habs play in Hartford because of him and always looked forward to watching him play against whoever the Habs were matched against on USA cable. I still remember like yesterday when he and Moller went touching off one of the greatest bench clearers (actually 2 bench clearers since they were seperated and went at it again before the start of the 3rd) of all time.

I know not many were around to remember but in the 60's and early 70's when the Bruins were the most hated bunch Johnny Pie Mckenzie and Turk Sanderson were the biggest villains. They brought out the hate everywhere they played. Mckenzie started plenty of sh-t with his style. Another guy from back then who garnered plenty of hate was Terry Harper of Montreal. He was always involved. Something like Bugsy Watson who was already mentioned. All were effective players with Sanderson and Mckenzie being major parts of the Cup winners.

Turk was such a villain he even punched the legend Jean Beliveau in the face in his rookie season , the reason he gave was the fact Beliveau never signed his autograph book in 1957 when Turk was 11 years old ..

Dineen had a really solid, somewhat overlooked career. He always makes me think of another smaller powerforward (of sorts), Pat Verbeek.

Which reminds me just how much i hated Dino Ciccerelli. I'm proud to say i hated him even as a capital.
