Chelios was hated here in Philly from his Montreal days. A cheap elbow on Brian Propp in the 89 playoffs did it. He's easily Top 10, maybe even Top 5 all time most hated Philly opponent.

On a local level (how did I forget this) - NY Ranger fans have a long memory and a deep seated hatred for one Dennis Potvin

There have been tough teams, sure, but none like those 2 Stanley Cup winning Flyer teams with Schultz leading the way and man, he was hated like no one else.

For me, Claude Lemieux was my most hated player followed closely by Dale Hunter. Those 2 guys could just drive you nuts with their style of play as they would cheat their way to wins and when someone tried to make them pay they always seemed to skate away unscathed, for the most part and often wouldn't even get a penalty but the other team would, it was just maddening to watch that!

I still think Lemieux should have been suspended forever for the Draper hit, it was so obviously on purpose and the fact he never apologized for it really says what kind of a low life he is and was.
Suspened forever? What are you on? Lemieux was a POS for sure but at the same time he was a WINNER.

He should have been prosecuted for attempted murder. The most gutless act against another hockey player that I've ever seen and then doesn't even have the balls to apologize for it.

I've never wanted to kill a fellow human being until Lemieux came along.

Well, homicide might be a better description.

He should be castrated so he can't pollute the world with his offspring.

Loved it when Phillipe Bozon ran him thru the end boards to start a Blues-Hawks game. Chelifish didn't know where he was after that hit.......

He should have his rectum removed with a spoon.

He should have his eyes removed with a fork.

He should have his pecker removed by a rabid dog.

You do know I'm intentionally going over the top right?

I can't stand the guy but it is, after all, entertainment, it aint life and death but it really gets me when a clown like that gets away with the stuff he got away with. Some people should just not be allowed to play, I don't care how many goals they scored, how many trophies they win, you cannot polish a turd.

No, I know it's over the top to say a player should be suspended forever but that's just the way I feel about certain players, not just in hockey either. I've always seen it as a real priviledge to play a kids game and get paid big bucks for it and when they act a certain way, they should lose that priviledge.

Michael Vick is another example. In my opinion, he should never have been allowed to play again, he simply doesn't deserve it for what he did and didn't pay nearly enough but got right back in the NFL and is making millions and all is forgiven because he struck a deal that you or I NEVER would have gotten.

The rest was just me baiting you.
